Welcome to Crazy Critters Wildlife Sanctuary. We run a wildlife sanctuary north of Mudgee. We care for a wide range of animals in the sanctuary including galahs, cockatoos, macaws, black cockatoos, sugar gliders, ringtail possums, ducks, horses and emus. As part of your stay you are welcome to meet them and take photos. The campsites are generally flat ground, and there are several areas to choose from for camping or parking your RVs.  You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Enjoy a campfire dinner or simply relax around the crackling campfire. We provide free firewood to keep you warm and toasty. No dogs please, as we have a lot of animals on site. You are welcome to hire our generator with fuel. Please see Extras.

Site 1 - Crazy Critters Camp
What a wonderful escape from the rat race!! We had a perfect few days. Lisa and Scott were wonderful hosts and all the animals and birds were an added bonus. I fell in love with little moo 🐮, george 🐷 and rusty 🐶, all the animals and birds were friendly and happy to have visitors. Fire wood was ample and we kept our fire going the whole trip. The sites are very flat, great for tents Only 10 mins from shops for supplies and a lovely walk along the road for stunning views We will be back

Crazy Critters Camp
I cannot recommend Crazy Critters Animal Sanctuary enough! Our family had the pleasure of camping there for one night and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But the real magic of Crazy Critters is in the animals. Our kids were absolutely enamored with all the furry and feathered friends they met during our visit. From the curious goats and playful rabbits to the majestic horses and friendly pigs, every animal had its own unique personality that made our stay so special. What really stood out to us was the care and love that the staff showed towards each and every animal. It was evident that every creature was treated with respect and kindness, and it was truly heartwarming to see the bond between the animals and their caretakers. Overall, our experience at Crazy Critters was nothing short of magical. It's clear that this animal sanctuary is a labor of love, and we feel grateful to have been a small part of it for one night. Thank you to the staff and all the animals for an unforgettable experience! We will definitely be back.

Crazy Critters Camp
We were warmly greeted on arrival, to a camp in a lovely natural setting. Our children had an amazing time exploring and learning about the injured birds and animals. We will definitely return the next time we are near.
