This campsite is located right on the river's edge. The area is easily accessible for all types of vehicles and the grass is pretty flat. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower amenities. Bring your canoes and kayaks for some fun on the water. The river's edge features small pebbles that are ok for bare feet. The river runs slowly and is great for swimming. Fires permitted outside of the fireban season (please use the dedicated firepit only). We are located a short drive from Gloucester for all your shopping and supply needs..This campsite is located right on the river's edge. River Front Adventure
Hosts & Property - Amazing!
We were honoured to be the first guests on this property, and it did not disappoint. Paul and Eliza were absolutely wonderful hosts, and welcomed us to enjoy the most relaxing weekend on their beautiful farm. The Barrington River was clean and we enjoyed swimming and going for afternoon walks with our dogs along their spacious river front. No insects to menace us, just fresh clean air. Paul and Eliza had kindly slashed a huge area for us to chose where to set up our caravan, and assisted us in and out of the property. We immensely enjoyed seeing and learning about their cattle, and greatly appreciated their hospitality. This, by far, has been our best Hipcamp experience. Looking forward to returning soon!
