Misty Mountain Camping
Lovely views and a good spot midway between Braidwood and the coast. Found a small level spot above site 1 which suited our 4x4 campervan. Our pup enjoyed a walk around the tracks.

Misty Mountain Camping
Fantastic Property for all campers
A wonderful property in the small town of Sassafras, close to Nerriga pub. Marie is a fantastic host and has provided everything anyone needs for a comfortable stay. Easy access onto a dirt road around the property, accessible for 2wd and caravan/trailer. A flat area to park, close to the small dam, and potable water available. We stayed down the bottom at “site b” which is probably more suitable for a 4wd. Our Landcruiser handled it fine after a little rain. We had ample space to ourselves and Marie has recently had some areas slashed. We were left alone with our dogs, had a nice big fire and enjoyed the peace and quiet. There is plenty of fallen wood around which we were aloud to access ourselves, but Marie also has a large stock pile of split wood up the top of the property which is very handy for the cold nights! We had a wonderful time at Misty Mountain and would definitely recommend this awesome property. Thank you Marie :)
