At the foot of the Watagan mountains, close to the Watagan 4WD tracks, picnic areas, and bike tracks. Also close to Lake Macquarie where you will find fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing etc. About a 20 - 40 min drive to beautiful beaches. Ideal for those wanting to be surrounded by birds, nature and a couple of friendly doggos. Also great for people wanting to try out their new camper, van or tent for the 1st time as we are an easy 1 hour drive north of Sydney on the M1 and close enough to shops for those forgotten items. Also we have unfenced dams, if you are camping with young children please consider carefully and let me know before booking. We have very basic bathroom facilities of 1 flushing toilet in the shed and an outdoor warm shower.

Bunyip's Top Paddock.
Poor Amenities
With at least 20 + people camping and only one toilet in poor shape and a very rustic shower I think they are very overpriced.

Bunyip's Wattle Grove - primitive
Close to Sydney and just off the M1. A quiet location with basic facilities, but perfect for a chilled out stopover before continuing on my journey.

Bunyip's-Moo's Site Primitive Power
This is a beautiful campsite. Lots of space between camping groups so it doesn't feel crowded. Shower and toilet amenities are basic but work totally fine.

Bunyip's-Moo's Site Primitive Power
Loved camping at Bunyip-moo we had a powered site, the land was easy to access and even for a newbie to using a camper van! Very Quiet and peaceful not too far from shops if you forget anything important directions given prior to booking were clear and precise, There were other camping nearby but it wasn't too loud. My Dog absolutely loved her walks around searching for that perfect stick.

Bunyip's Brooke's Nook -Primitive
Had a wonderful stay at Bunyips Brooke’s Nook. Great sized flat site. Water availability was a huge bonus for fresh water for my old Labrador & a flushing loo! Nice little trails down to the creek. Brown Paws, one of the resident dogs was so well behaved and a funny old boy full of character. Lisa was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you. Definitely stay again🏕️
