Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Sara 0435 614 243 Please be respectful of neighbours and do not fly drones over private property.Nestle into the camp site and enjoy distant, filtered views to Bunga Beach, a cooling coastal breeze and protection from the cold southerly offered by the forest south of the camp. Enjoy a camp fire in the fire pit provided. Take a walk or short drive further along Goalen Head Rd (Wrens Rd) to stunning Bunga Beach. When the southerly swell hits this is a great surf beach, otherwise watch out for rips and enjoy a beach swim or walk along Bunga beach north to Murrah or Bunga lagoon for a beautiful calm swim. Spot numerous kangaroos and wallabies as well as goannas, wedge-tail and sea eagles and sometimes whales.

Bunga Summit
Great spot
This is a beautiful spot for bush style camping. We were made to feel welcome, hosts were very responsive. There are spots for multiple tents but we were the only ones. Short stroll down the hill to Bunga beach. Well, 15 min stroll but beautiful walk with lots of roo’s at the beach. Really enjoyed my stay there. Thank you.

A great stay, close to Bermagui
Thanks for a great stay! Bunga summit is a lovely space, very quiet and having the option to buy firewood there made arriving so easy. Lou and Dan were lovely hosts and the loo with a view is a nice addition. Would definitely recommend to others

Will definitely return!
Lovely site with a toilet, water and fire pits, just got to find a flat spot, watch out for rocks and be careful of the ticks my brother and I got bit. Seen many kangaroos and more wildlife. It’s quiet and with a clear sky the stars look amazing. Close to Bunga and Bunga south beach, there are even more nice beaches on the way to Bermagui which is only 15 minutes up the road. There’s a Woolworths there too if you forget anything.

Lovely spot between two lovely coastal towns. Friendly owners, some flat spots, though lots of sloping landscape so planning for the slopes would be helpful. Very hard land/ bring extra pegs!!!

Bunga Summit
Nice quiet spot. Good directions, but even then it was pretty easy to find. Fire pit was handy and worked well even in the wind. Plenty of space between sites. Beach is quite close although note it does not allow dogs. Would definitely consider returning one day to explore the coastline a bit more.
