Boytrang Camp
Such a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few days. Very responsive communication and the access instructions were easy to follow. River access is by a short walk down from the paddock via a track cleared by the slasher so a basic level of mobility for uneven terrain is needed. I didnā€™t go for a swim, but certainly could have. The drop loo is very thoughtfully laid out and the feminine touch was appreciated. I will certainly return for some more wonderful seclusion another time.

Based on the field above the river.
We spent three gorgeous nights, camping on the grass between the river and the dam. The views were gorgeous, the pit toilet was spacious and the river was spectacular. It was 15km of dirt road and more than 20mins to beechwood, the closest town. To reach the pebble beach and slow water at the river was at least a hundred metres of walking across a steep grassy hillside, which was difficult with toddlers, kayaks and gear. For a brand new camp this one has great potential and I can see some magic days spent here.

Absolutely magical!
Wow, what a beautiful spot. Bursting with a huge array of birds, plants and animals. The pit toilet was the best Iā€™ve used, not stinky and very clean. The river down the hill was just magical, the beautiful rock faces flooded with birdsong. Easy to get there using maps and really well maintained dirt roads. We had such a fabulous time exploring. Even saw a turtle sunbathing on our last morning swim. Loads of space to spread out and Can be as friendly/private as you like. A little reluctant to leave this review as I donā€™t want more people coming hereā€¦hehe Thankyou for having us x

Lush Countryside Peaceful Setting
Thank you Gai & Kirsty for opening up your property for campers which is absolutely stunning, the countryside is so lush and green and we loved hearing the sound of the cows and watching the abundance of birdlife. The night sky was spectacular and we appreciated being able to have a camp fire. We enjoyed a dip in the deep water river which is perfect for swimming, floating with a noodle, kayaking and/or canoeing, the adventurous walking track down to the river was a bit of fun finding the best path which opened up to an amazing rock face. It was lovely to see that others had packed a picnic to spend their time together by the water. We feel this Hipcamp is perfect for families and groups, as it's a large field where you can set up and the kids can play in sight. Finally, the hosts were great with their communication and we wish them well with their Hipcamp. Kindest Regards Marg & Steve Gibbo's Road Trip Adventures
