3. Hairpin Haven
Camping at Bonnydoon was fantastic. With the hikes, dam swims and four wheel driving, hard to run out of things to do. Property is beautiful, everywhere you look is stunning. Host was fast responding and very accomodating. Will definitely be back.

10. Tour De France
Amazing location 10 minutes out of dungog, Easy access, peaceful location with plenty of mown grassy areas to camp with options to be away from other campers. We took our off-road caravan without any dramas.
Composting toilets were clean and readily available around the property.
Great communication from our hosts Nicholas and Jane. We will definitely be back for a longer stay, thank you.

Best of both worlds
Usually finding a property that feels this remote with the calibre of views requires a bit of distance from town. We were a short 12 mins drive into Dungog which was super convenient and had immediate access into the Barringtons to explore the many hikes and tracks on offer.
Valley views stretching across the tops was the hallmark of this camping spot that felt more remote than it’s location actually was.
The hike to the waterfall was marked with pink tape making it easy to find. While we made the track with 1 adult, 4 year old and a 7 year old it isn’t a casual stroll and will require some leg work. Definitely worth the adventure though.
The host was incredibly helpful and easy to contact for any help making the most of the sprawling 640 acre property.
