Big Sky Farm is situated on 85 stunning acres, 3km from the beautiful Bellingen township. There are three sites in total, stretching approximately 150 metres. Two are camp sites and there is a Glamping/ Bell tent site coming soon. All three sites have direct river access. Riverview camp site offers a timber outdoor setting and a private campfire. Riverfern offers a private campfire. (Campfires are to be used when fire restrictions aren’t in place, limited firewood supplied but can be purchased at an additional cost) The Kalang river runs through the property offering direct access to spectacular private swimming holes, views and wide river frontage. There is also plenty of shade trees along the river. You are welcome to bring your own kayaks to explore on the river. There is plenty of access for cars, caravans and motor homes. We now have a brand new portable loo for your convenience, however we do suggest considering what else you will need to bring before you make a booking. Internet is limited with 5G in some spots around the river and camping areas. Pets unfortunately are no longer permitted as American Bison and cattle are farmed on the property. Some of the areas best beaches are under 20 minutes from the property with Coffs Harbour and the airport approximately 30 minutes away.

A beautiful and private space with lots of shade and choice for sun too. We swam in the crystal clear creek daily, enjoyed the fire pit and fire wood supplied and the bison and cows around. We had beautiful sunny weather and enjoyed day trips to Dorrigo National Park, The Promise Lands and regular trips into Bellingen town (5 min drive).

Lovely camping spot by the river and great place to unwind and see the night sky. The hosts were very attentive and left us a nice surprise of marshmallows and a fire pit ready to go. The bison on the farm were a bonus. There was also a very clean and brand-new port a loo. Only 5 mins to Bellingen. Highly recommend.

Riverside camping, 10mins to town
Michael & Claire were very gracious hosts. The campsites are in a beautiful spot and include thoughtful touches such as festoon lights, marshmellows and the cleanest portaloo. The bison are spectacular to watch, and we enjoyed swimming in the river. I can’t wait to return- thanks for sharing your slice of paradise!

Can’t wait to come back!
This was the most beautiful spot to camp in Bellingen. Picturesque property and totally private for us as the other site wasn’t booked during our stay. We were greeted by the owners with some info along with a pack of marshmallows and forks to roast on the firepit supplied with firewood. The setup was brilliant and toilet much appreciated. The spot was shaded and we really couldn’t ask for more. We’ll definitely be back when we next come to Bello!

Thanks for having us to stay on your beautiful piece of land Michael and Claire,. It was very peaceful. And wonderful having the place to ourselves. Great advantage having the portaloo and even the welcome pack of marshmallows and toasting forks. Good directions to find the place. Be mindful that there is no phone reception at the campsite. Kalang River is stunning
Fantastic campsite. Kids absolutely loved it. Very safe and very fun. Lots of sunshine and shade. Very private. Exceptionally nice hosts. We will return.
