Bellbrook Riverside Cabins Campsite, is a level grassed area, 100 metres from the Historic Bellbrook Hotel on the Macleay River. With a picturesque mountain view and beautiful sunsets, the campsite is accessible via a tar sealed road. Bellbrook is an historic village, located about an hour upriver from Kempsey. The road follows the Macleay River and there are a number of spots where you have spectacular views of the river making its way through the valley. The name Bellbrook was adopted as the official title in 1882. At that time bellbirds inhabited the dense scrub along Nulla Nulla Creek. The character of the Bellbrook village is expressed in the traditional architectural forms of the original buildings that are typical of the period, and the consistent use of weatherboard and corrugated iron materials. The campsite suits self-sufficient campers (own toilet/shower), and dogs are welcome.
