Avonlea is 860 acres of spectacular country, situated in the Wallabadha Valley. It is just 35 minutes from Tamworth, Australia's Country Music Capital, home to the famous music festival. There are beautiful vistas in every direction, it's peaceful, plenty of options for walks, and lots of wildlife, and historical old land. Lots to discover here at Avonlea! There is a running creek through the property, offering excellent spots for camping. All campers do need to be self-contained, with their own camp toilet. All this, just 2km from Wallabadha Country Hotel and services. We ask that you please arrive between 9am and 4pm.Avonlea is a beautiful campsite that offers secluded camping spots along Stone Creek. The caravan and tent sites provide breathtaking views, surrounded by bush walks and mountains. It is conveniently located 2km from Wallabadha, where you'll find the hotel, cafes and interesting history. Tamworth, the country music capital, is just 35 minutes away. Pets, specifically dogs, are allowed on a leash. Campsites are allocated by hosts on arrival. Fires are permitted (when local conditions allow), but please bring your own firewood.
