Unfortunately the river was flowing too fast for kayaks. Where we camped we would not have been able to put them, due to being too steep, there is only one spot up further however other campers were there. Only 2 spots along the river to view the river. Nice and quiet even though it’s next to the road. Lovely host with quick replies.

Great spot down near the river with plenty of wood for a fire and a good clearing for dog to run around in.

Nice quiet little spot right next to the river, sean was very friendly and helpful. We managed to catchs a few fish too. Carp and Rainbow Trout. We took our kayaks, but the river was a bit fast for our young children. Would be perfect to drop further upstream and paddle/float back from the tumut river. We went forna drive along the road and found plenty of other areas to fish aswell. Sean said we were free to use an firewood we found in the area too. Overall, we would go back. Enjoyed out 3 nights there.
