Lovely grassy farm on a 15 acre block. A quick 15 minute drive into Picton where you can find our local club and shops. Short drive to Nattai lookout overlooking Warragamba water catchment. Spectacular view. Also Thirlmere Lakes. Nearby Camden township restaurants, cafes, pool, bike track along Nepean River and more. We are located approximately 1 hour from Sydney airport so a day in the city is not out of the question. Shopping malls a short distance away. We have 4 horses, two dams, nice outlook, outside amenities. Camp alongside undercover carport or choose your spot. Clean tank water is available and picnic table can be provided. As we have horses, dogs must be on a leash. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit. 4wd recommended or suv with good clearance.Melon Green welcomes self contained motorhomes and/or caravans. Up to 4 people, including children. Dogs are welcome but may need to be on a leash due to livestock. Also local takeaways. 15 minute drive to Picton where you can find pubs and golf club as well as shops and supermarkets. Short drive to Nattai lookout overlooking Warragamba water catchment. Spectacular view.  Nearby Camden township restaurants, cafes, pool, bike track along Nepean River and more. We are located approximately 1 hour from Sydney airport so a day in the city is not out of the question. Shopping malls a short distance away. We have 4 horses, two dams, nice outlook. Park alongside undercover carport or choose your spot. Clean tank water is available and picnic table can be provided. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit. Please note access road is now sealed. Fresh tank water is available via hose. Electricity can be provided upon request. All self contained campers are welcome. The site is big and can accommodate two vehicles, 4 guests for $48.00 per night. Pets welcome.

I had such a great time at this campsite! It’s clean, peaceful, and just the right distance away from the city to feel like a true getaway. Being not too far from Sydney made the drive easy and stress-free, which is perfect for a quick weekend escape. The nearby town and village made grabbing groceries convenient without losing the peaceful vibe. During my stay, I could really unwind and forget the stress of city life. Lyndall was super friendly and welcoming host, which made the experience even better. One thing to note, though, is the entrance lane – it’s a bit rough, which made the drive in a little challenging. But overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet place to recharge, I highly recommend this spot!

We wanted a quiet weekend away and camped in a corner of Lyndall’s property that’s exactly what we got. Lovely spot, nice views and friendly farm animals.

Melon Green at Oakdale 15 acres
The property isn’t too big but the location worked for us being only an hour from Sydney. The toilets were great, clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!
