The beginnings of a regenerative farm dedicated to recovering the native lands while growing food for delicious homemade meals. Just a short drive from Nimbin, it's a beautiful base camp to explore this wonderful region, but also offers plenty if you just wish to kick back in nature during your stay.
Enjoy our private creek, rolling hills, and native wildlife. Surrounded by ancient rainforests, waterfalls, and swim holes there are not many better ways to recharge the batteries and escape the hustle of life. You are welcome to choose your own spot on our 90 acres, and we can help advise of some good locations.
All sites are for self-contained travelers, those that have their own camp toilet and can take all waste with them when they leave.
The property is most suited to 4WD, high clearance vehicles, and off-road campers. Caravans and motorhomes will find it difficult to reach most areas to camp.
Children under 12 stay free! Please still add children to the booking (you will not be charged) so we can keep on top of guest numbers.
You're welcome to bring your furry four-legged friends along to camp too, but please ensure they do not hassle the livestock or travel across the creek, we have neighbouring properties all around us.
Please feel free to swim in the creek wherever you please and you are most welcome to walk up the creek to adventure. There are some beautiful secluded spots and swimming holes, but please do not cross the creek, our neighbours like their privacy.
If you arrive to extreme weather conditions please contact us before entering the property as we may have to recommend some safe spots for camping or arrange you to stay on The Vale camping site.
By the time I arrived at Amari heavy rain had set in. Although I have a 4wd van but did not think it wise to descend the steep track to the campsite The scenery was great at this property and Preston welcomed me via Hip camp on my arrival.

**Review for Emari Farm**
Emari Farm is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the peaceful Nimbin Valley. The location is stunning, with crystal-clear creeks and plenty of swimming holes to cool off in. The large grassed area was perfect for our fur family to run around and enjoy some freedom.
However, our experience wasn’t entirely smooth. On the first night, a large group arrived and decided to have a party. Despite our polite requests for them to turn the noise down, the noise continued into the early hours of the morning. We reached out to the hosts via text and call but didn’t receive a response, which left us feeling pretty frustrated. Ultimately, we decided to pack up early, but thankfully, the group seemed to be packing up as well, so we decided to stay for the second night.
And that second night—well, it was everything we’d hoped for. It was quiet, tranquil, and we could finally enjoy the peaceful surroundings, with nothing but nature around us.
If it weren’t for the inconsiderate campers, it would have been a perfect weekend retreat. Hoping for a smoother experience next time!

Great farm camp by the river, total serenity. Not too far from Nimbin and cute town with a great pub at The Channon. If you want to escape the crowds, this is the place.

The long windy road up to the camp site is 100% worth the gorgeous views! Would recommend the camp site to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Side note: Nightcap national park waterfall walk is amazing!
