Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

Relaxing camping with our dogs
It was very relaxing camping at Aloomba Lavender Farm. There were nice flat sites with clean amenities. The owners were friendly. We enjoyed the many birds around us such as the Red-rumped Parrots.

Our favourite place to camp
This is our fifth visit to Aloomba Lavender Farm in the past two years, and it has never disappointed us. We brought a new guest this time, and he absolutely loved it. Despite two days of rain, we still had an amazing experience. The beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and the ever-charming Watto and Maxim made our visit unforgettable. Watto’s tricks of chasing off the cows from the gate were a delight to watch. Terry, Tim, and Thomas were fantastic hosts. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

A very tidy experience
Such a wonderful experience camping at the Lavender farm. A beautiful property! I could not fault the facilities - wow! The showers and toilets were so clean and tidy! The facilities alone made it a good trip but being able to collect firewood was so handy and we loved our little four legged dog friend who visited. Very easy to get into Stanthorpe from the location.

Lavender and Cattle (unpowered)
This was our second stay at Aloomba and we had another wonderful time. Our two dogs missed catching up with Max but despite the cold and windy weather, we all had a memorable stay. Terry and Shirley were kept busy in the gift shop.
