Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Wake up to the locals including several species of Kangaroo and wallabies, echidnas, bandicoots, black cockatoos, parrots, kookaburras and turtles. 2 great camp sites to choose from, clearly signed and each with a dedicated fire pit and wood supplied. Enjoy the peace and quite of a biodiversity significant bush acreage with mountain glimpses and dam views. Pitch black surrounds are perfect for star gazing and only a 5 minute drive from town amenities and the unspoilt pristine beaches of main and Shelley. The amazing local area includes courtesy buses to multiple venues including the Waterfront Hotel, The Adelaide Pub, bowling and golf club - great meals and bar options. Also a must visit to the Quantum Brewery and The River restaurant for a true foodie experience. MOGO zoo, only a short 15min drive is worth a visit and for those who love to mountain bike, the new track opens soon and we hear it has “magic dirt”! Don’t forget to visit BODALLA and feed the calf’s at 10am and 4pm daily - the ice cream and milkshakes are worth the trip.

Was told when we arrived of ticks in the area when we arrived grounds are not flat like described and you are removing ticks from yourself everyday

Peaceful bush camp
Property was easy to find, easy to access and was very peaceful. We only had a neighbour two of the nights we stayed but he was also quiet. The fire pit with wood was a nice comfort too. Be careful coming here with kids and pets, our son loved the the freedom and space but he got 3 ticks on him over our stay and I one in my beard. The camp was also on a gradient which we found difficult to set our camper up but got there in the end. Price for the stay was fair, thanks for having us.

It was very quiet there, only one other camper. Lovely tree area. I did not see any farm animals at all. Thanks for the stay Kay

Amazing value, serene, beautiful,
Amazing!! I almost don’t want to write a review because then it might get booked out. Beautiful area, great location, very quiet (except for the other campers who brought a generator and had it on until midnight but that’s just sh*t campers). Fire pit and set up great, overall great value for bush camping!! Go to a caravan park if you need a generator on all night 🙏
