Site 4 - Casa Linda Vineyard n River Camping
Peaceful and rural area.
I would recommend a stay at Casa Linda but there are a few issues. According to the site on Hip Camp the site would be a pull thru, things have been rearranged and there are no longer any pull thrus. Also according to the write up there would be hot showers but when I asked about that I was told that there was only cold water. Jordan was very nice but during the orientation I was not shown where the toilet was or the shower and laundry. It is a lovely and peaceful place to stay and there are many opportunities to explore in the area.

Perfect view for the eclipse!
This campground was picturesque quiet had a wonderful, dark sky, and we would go back there in a heartbeat. A campground worker met us showed us to our site full hook ups, gorgeous scenery. Already planning on going back.

Absolutely loved it!! The sites have so much room. They are not on top of each other and not crowded at all. Quiet and such a beautiful area. I cannot wait until I go back. Loved the Llamas walking around.

Casa Linda Vineyard n River Camping
I truck camped with a friend and my dog at Casa Linda. We were the only campers there and it was magical! The stream was lovely to listen to and we saw a lot of wildlife. There are about 20 vultures who "home" on the property and it was cool to watch them playing on the air currents every morning and evening. We also saw herons, wild turkeys, and ground squirrels. Unfortunately my dog met a skunk, but I was able to get the cleaning ingredients nearby and use a hose on the property to clean her off. 😸 All in all a great trip! One thing to note- it is a farm with animals so you do have to watch out for poop and make sure to close the gates so they don't get out. The cows were quite talkative when I went by their fields and it was fun to have them nearby.
