Glamping Tent at Camp Griffin
It’s all ready for you!
We had such a great time staying on Kimberlee’s beautiful property. The tent was beautiful, comfy bed, rugs covering the floor, a table for all your stuff, and an incense burner! My daughter was in heaven. Great fire pit area was perfect for evening fires and chatting. We got the s’mores kit and the chocolate was especially fab! She recommended some fun day trips and we want to return! ❤️

camp griffin -- We are open!!!
Very nice hosts and a beautiful location. There is a communal fire pit, so we got to chat with other campers, and had a great experience in every way!

Glamping Tent at Camp Griffin
A Backyard Sleepover
We were amiably greeted by the hosts of Camp Griffin and were given everything that we might have needed. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog, although her being there very much excited the host's energetic pups. The camp is plot of land that hosts a beautiful home and a few other structures that offer a variety of camping experiences: areas to pitch tents, a tipi, a yurt, and even rooms inside the house. While we were up for a communal experience and went in with expectations of having less privacy than we normally would while camping, the place quickly filled up with people arriving late into the night. We knew others would be joining the site, but perhaps didn't do enough research or ask enough questions about the reality of actually how many guests would be staying at a time. If you're eager to meet many new people and don't mind the noise and close quarters of a backyard sleepover party, then this is an ideal place to stay. The cost of the space is quite high, considering the lack of privacy available. I would recommend Camp Griffin to those who had a better understanding of what to expect, especially in this time of Covid 19 where people might prefer to practice more social distancing. I take responsibility for not asking more questions and still do consider it to be an overall positive experience.

camp griffin -- We are open!!!
Overall, Kimberlee has a great place at Camp Griffin. Her and Kyle are super laidback, friendly and helpful hosts. The whole place is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Unless you bring your own table, chairs and firepit, you'll probably be using the communal space which means contact with other campers. With that in mind, I would not recommend this site for someone looking for a private camping experience, but if you want to stay somewhere beautiful and don't mind mingling with other campers, it would be perfect!

camp griffin -- We are open!!!
A very warm and welcoming little campsite. Close to some really beautiful day hikes. Kimberlee is a very kind and helpful host. I went with a friend and my dog and we all enjoyed our little tent site as well as meeting others around the communal fire pit.
