Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Thank You Chiefy and Tina!
Myself and 4 friends visited in early November and stayed at the Southernmost Point campsite. We had an absolute blast and the camp set-up was very convenient apart from some tree stumps around the site that make extra lighting necessary. Chiefy and Tina were lovely hosts that regularly asked us if we needed anything and delivered extra water to our camp site when we ran out. The water is right next to the campsite which was incredible to hear at night and added to the peacefulness of the area. There were very few “issues” I had with the trip. One was that the firewood prices were quite high for the piles that were provided but I appreciate that the wood was brought directly to our campsite. We also initially were concerned with the small size of the fire pit but we were able to reconfigure the stones to allow for more room. The outhouse was pretty smelly but kept very clean and hand sanitizer, toilet paper and soap were all provided! Overall, we had a lovely time. We tried out the hike on the property which was VERY steep the entire way up but had a great view at the top. The weather was too cold to go into the river but i’m excited to hopefully visit again and do so in the future! Thank you again for an amazing trip!

Great campsite and great hosts! Didn't want for anything. In fact, our hosts, (Chiefy and Tina) went out of their way to make our stay as optimal as possible. I highly recommend this site!

Breathtaking private experience
We checked out both sites! They’re beautiful! Pros: HUGE sites. We probably could have pitched half a dozen tents on either site. The river is gorgeous and the sound of the river at night was to die for. Having firewood and watered delivered was A+. We ran into Tina and Chiefy while on a hike and they are SO kind and relaxed. If you want to hike, the trail is intense but short and the view is breathtaking. Cons: very close to the road. There are trees and a river between you and the road but you can see some headlights at night and hear some cars. Thankfully it’s not a busy road.

Camping under a canopy
Loved tent camping on Chiefy & Tina’s land! Very accommodating & friendly hosts :) we had our own private space– even though it was only two of us, these campgrounds could fit a much bigger group. Towering trees made it feel like an outdoor shelter! Running stream was peacefully chugging along in the background. The only down side is that the main road is audible & visible from the campsite… but there are so few cars in the area that we didn’t mind too much

A must stop
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property! The sound of the river was incredibly peaceful, and the fall scenery was stunning. Having no cell service was one of the best parts—it really helped us unwind and fully immerse ourselves in nature. Cheify, the owner, stopped by and was so kind, and Tina's flowers added such vibrant colors to every photo we took. Our dogs were in absolute heaven being off-leash, and having a private hiking trail was the cherry on top. We can't wait to come back!
