Sebastian Lockwood and Nanette Perrotte bought this beautifully renovated 1792 Hip Roof Colonial in 2001 and converted the existing workshop into an artists sleep in studio. We love walking the maze of trails that surrounds the property, or taking longer hiked into the Rand Valley using the hiking and biking trails. We treasure the silence and the wildlife. The house is a source of great creativity for two creative people- and we would like to share this with other creative people!

Monadnock Hills Cabin
The cabin is gorgeous and cozy with a stunning meadow and mountain view from the inside thanks to a smart well located wall with windows that covers one side. We visited during the last weekend of April and the wrought iron stove was working and endearing the night and the mornings as a pretty cool activity to keep the space warm. The host did great with a good conversation and interesting memories in the short time we spent with them mostly at the end of the day during the BBQ that was set up while we enjoyed a cool cider while appreciating the views from the porch next to the house. Thanks :)

Monadnock Hills Cabin
We had a wonderful time at Sebastian and Nanette's. The cabin has beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking Crotched Mt. Their dogs are beautiful and living the life on such a big property. They were extremely helpful and kind and respectful of privacy, and the breakfast was such a wonderful surprise with fresh juice both mornings! We hope to be back soon.

Nanette and Sebastian are exceptional hosts! I wanted to chat with them for hours; truly engaging, warm, and generous souls they are. They provided us with a wonderfully comfortable, charming, and romantic space to call home. Their taste in literature, art, local restaurants, hikes and attractions is impeccable! We more than enjoyed our retreat there. Breakfasts were delicious and nourishing and the views were stunning. We left feeling inspired and rejuvenated. It was the perfect weekend getaway and we cannot wait to come back! I highly recommend staying with them; they do not disappoint! And their dogs and cats are absolutely darling!

Monadnock Hills Cabin
We loved our stay with Nanette and Sebastian. They were excellent hosts and the cabin was cozy and peaceful. It was a great place to stay for relaxation and outdoor activity as there are many hiking trails nearby as well as mount Monadnock. We loved using the wood burning stove which kept us quite warm. I would definitely stay there again :)
