We have a very cool .5 mile nature trail that goes through an amazing tree line leading back to a viewing area with an amazing, magical giant Cottonwood Tree. Just completed a meditation labyrith that you'll want to catch around the time of a sunset! We also have chickens, horses, cats and dogs to visit while you are here. There is also an orchard, creeks, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy! Not to mention the beautiful night sky!
(Please note: The horses we foster are here August - May. They spend the summer at a non-profit kids camp in Ashland.)
We also have a picnic table and campfire site for your use.Just 10 minutes north of the I-80 corridor, north of Lincoln, Nebraska, this serene camping spot is located in a shaded, wooded alcove which gives you adequate privacy for a quick, overnight visit, or a longer, relaxing visit stay. We have a picnic table and fire pit at the campsite that is perfect for cooking hotdogs, s’mores, and sharing scary night-time stories! We also have a very unique nature trail that winds along the length of our property, wrapping back around to a beautiful, magnificent Cottonwood tree. The Trail and the Tree are two things that must be experienced in person - pictures really do not do them justice! We also have very friendly yellow labs who love new people, free-ranging chickens and a couple friendly horses for you to pet and spend time with (if you’d like!). If you are staying more than one night, we also have a 6-7 person hot tub up at the house for your relaxation and enjoyment. Whether you are a sunrise enthusiastic or a sunset lover, you will have both in a very picturesque Nebraska hobby farmstead setting!
