Located along the beautiful Cedar River with easy access right off hwy 281, we offer primitive camping as well enough space for hiking, fishing, bird watching, and plenty of other activities along with tanking, tubing, kayaking, and canoeing. Whether it be enjoying our abundance of wildlife that also appreciates the diversity of the property, cooling off in the swimming hole, or casting a line, we have plenty to offer here at Crazy Rayz.

Grateful for a place to sleep & the price was great! Nice location beside the river. Had an amazing night sky. Host was helpful & kind. Cautions: 1. Verify the host/ site is available. During my checkin, I wasn’t sure if the host was explaining me that the grounds were simply double booked (we agreed to proceed & I enjoyed the event’s music; others might not) - or if he was saying that they may need to discontinue with Hipcamp at this time. 2. When you receive coordinates, look carefully beforehand… Crazy Rayz is on 281. Apple Maps sent me miles north on low maintenance roads (unsafe for low cars). Google maps worked! I’m told by natives that both map apps are tricky in Nebraska. 3. Recommend a tarp / sheeting for tent camping, as sites are on cut fields & can poke holes if you’re not careful. I was prepared & didn’t have an issue)

Portapotties were good. Fire pit works. Plenty of flat level grass for tents or RV

Crazy Rayz was such an amazing place to camp on my long roadtrip. I camping right next to the ripe mulberry tree! I wish the weather permitted me to float down the river but I’m sure to come back on my next roadtrip!

Horrible experience because we couldn't find the camp site for the camp so we slept in our car

Great spot for our RV overnight on the way through. We enjoyed the room for our dog to run, the river and the cute goats. We happened upon the mulberry tree that was thick with ripe fruit that made a great cocktail! We’ll happily stop again on our way through. Thanks Raymond!

Wish I could’ve stayed
Unfortunately I couldn’t stay, wind advisory, didn’t have ground anchors, only stakes. Couldn’t keep tent down and couldn’t start a fire due to fire restriction in area. The site was great! I drove all the way back to duck blind where I wanted to stay, but wasn’t sure my little sedan could get out if it rained, so I set up closer to the main road.
