Wake up to the beauty of Glacier Park right out your front door. With abundant wildlife on the ranch, your stay is sure to have plenty of photo opportunities. Bring fishing poles and go after Brook trout in the creeks right at camp or head over to Cut Bank Creek to chase Rainbow and Brown trout. Campsite is located on a working cattle ranch in a stand of cottonwood trees along two spring fed creeks. Great spot with beautiful views and good protection from the wind. Great fishing and hiking right from camp. 50 amp electrical hookup at camp site. Enough room to fit the biggest campers yet protected enough for tent camping. Fire pit and picnic table on site. No need to worry about neighbors as you and your party will be the only one for miles. Groups welcome!Wake up to the beauty of Glacier Park right out your front door. Spring Creek at HooDoo Farms
*A Hidden Gem for Nature Lovers
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful private campsite on a farm, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location is stunning, with vast stretches of land to explore, a peaceful creek and river nearby, and the magical sight of wild horses and cows roaming freely. The birdwatching was incredible, with so many different species filling the air with their songs. The campsite is perfect for those who love nature and want to enjoy some quiet, private time. The land is expansive, so there’s plenty of room to roam, relax, or take a walk along the water. Being so close to the creek and river does attract mosquitos, but with some bug spray, it was hardly an issue. Just come prepared for that aspect, and you'll be fine. The road leading up to the site is quite bumpy, so make sure your vehicle is up for it. But once you arrive, the views and serenity are well worth the trip. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful space, well laid out, and the signs identifying the location out on the road were super helpful

Spring Creek at HooDoo Farms
Our stay at Spring Creek was one of the most delightful and unique camping experiences we have had. It has everything we look for in a campsite; a creek, shady trees, wildlife everywhere, no humans 🤣, & lots of space to run & play with our dogs. A huge added benefit was the electrical hookup! What more can you ask for? Every day we rode our bikes around the back pastures with our dogs exploring the beautiful land, swimming & watching the falcons, beavers, cows, & deer play; listening the the music of the coyotes singing at night & watching epic sunsets. I was especially entertained by the beavers in the creek adjacent to our site & the cries of the falcon pair. Thank you Scott for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us! ❤️

If you are looking for a remote experience where there is actually water and trees in that vast expanse of the flat and brown part of Montana, this might be for you. However, be prepared for a long and dusty Gravel road in order to get to the ranch, and then more driving through the field while they lead you to the site. It was a plus that they had electric way out there because it was quite hot and windy when I stayed there. It seemed to me that I was on a shorter stretch of gravel road when I left going west than what I ended up on coming from the east. The west bound road put me out at Browning as I was leaving. That is probably an easier point to access from. This was intended to be a short overnight stay while I was on my way from Virginia to Seattle. It seems to be more appropriate for a long-term stay considering the challenges of getting to and from the site. The owner was responsive and helpful in his communication even though I never met him. It was his son on a three wheeler that led me out to the site.

Private campsite with electric!
Fantastic location on a very private ranch with mowed green grass, a creek nearby, and a wonderful outdoor grill we used both days. Make sure to download directions and communicate with the owner before you leave cell service. Cell service throughout Montana and Canada is very spotty. It was easy to find for us- drive through the yard of the ranch house (and see the pack of dogs who are friendly) , go through the farm equipment, stacks of hay and follow the hipcamp emblem signs. You’ll end up in a beautiful private location that you will be glad you booked. Bring a long extension cord, because for us in a cab over camper, the flattest spot required a longer cord than what is there. 11 out of 10 stars!
