What a cool spot
This place is amazing! It's a lot bigger than the pictures look. Our hosts greeted us at arrival and gave us a brief tour, then disappeared for the night. They were right up the hill but let us enjoy ourselves in peace. It was perfect for my fiance and I. Everything you need is stocked and ready. There's a creek not far and some trails I the woods to explore. There is no wifi or cell service, which we absolutely loved; unplug and enjoy. The next morning, they did come by to check on us and suggest a local restaurant if we were hungry. No need to since we got up and made breakfast in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable and plenty of comforters if you got cold. Flush toilet and a large shower were really nice. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay.

My dog and I went tent camping on Nancy's land. The space was as advertised and Nancy and her husband were great with communication. We stayed at site 3, and there were glampers in their lodging. While we could see the glampers, we never heard them. Nancy and Mike's house is also within view, but they give you privacy. I think it's a great place if you want privacy but also want someone to hear you if you are in distress. Luckily, we were never in distress! The site is maybe 150 yards from where you park. Keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. There are also chickens and guinea fowl about, which I personally loved. There's also no TMobile cell service which is always a huge plus for me. The BEST part was the herbalism class. Nancy taught me how to make tinctures, which I have always been hesitant to try on her own. It's very clear that Nancy cares very deeply about what she does and her farm's mission. She has a wealth of knowledge and is very pleasant to talk to. We did a tour of her remedy garden and she answered my many questions. If you camp here, don't skimp out on these add-ons, even if you aren't open to herbalism. They really made the trip. She also offers intensive courses which are absolutely worth checking out. I've hip camped a decent amount and am usually driving an old, beat up sedan. Many sites give my car a beating. This one does not require 4wd at all.

Beautiful property & generous hosts
We loved our stay at Sacred Fire Farms and Herb Gardens! Nancy and Michael were generous hosts and looked out for us when it rained during our stay. They have beautiful property with a creek and secluded campsites. Nancy took us on an awesome herbal plant walk and shared her wisdom with us. We left feeling refreshed and with new knowledge!

We had a great time staying here! I made the reservation very last minute, but Nancy and her partner met me at the site and helped make sure that I had everything unloaded and a fire going before it got dark. The guinea hens and Nancy's knowledge of herbs ensured that neither my son nor I had any ticks for the entire visit, and the creek that is only a short walk away was so fun. We will definitely be returning so that we have time to try out the swimming hole next time!

Beautiful land and wonderful hosts!
Nancy and Mike were incredible hosts. They were extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs and even took time to show us around the land, sharing knowledge of plants and stories going back five generations of Nancy's family. The land is absolutely beautiful and even sits on a creek with an awesome swimming hole! Would love to stay here again one day. Thank you!
