Sandy Fern was a nice, secluded RV camping site. Chuck's communication was amazing! Shortly after booking, he sent over some detailed instructions so we knew what to expect. When we got there, we had a couple of questions - primarily making sure we were parked correctly and in the right spot - and he was quick to answer so we could get hooked up and settled in right away. Our Great Dane LOVED it. Lots of room to run around and explore. While we didn't use it, there were games and a fire pit with quite a few Adirondack chairs around it. (Next time!) We really enjoyed our time here.

Nice fire pit area and horse shoe area. Picnic table could be closer to actual camper location. There were swarms of little black bugs and a rooster crowing next door at a private home owners house/property. Suggest cleaning up cut wood/brush piles in the two different areas to tidy things up and keep bugs and critters away from camp area. Otherwise they were great to work with and very friendly and responsive.

For the holiday we wanted to escape the busy state campgrounds crammed with cars and campers right on top of each other. We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful retreat. The full hook up was super convenient. The fire pit was great. The site is super duper level. Being a pull through is fantastic. It was the easiest camp set up and tear down we had all year.

This was our 3rd stay at this campsite, we had absolutely beautiful weather 😎 and soooo quiet, you can actually hear nature!🏕️The campsite is mowed and well kept. We love the evenings sitting by the campfire and looking at the night sky…so many stars!✨

The site is well maintained and clean. The full hook up is great to have and nicely done with ease of use. The fire pit area was nice and large. There was plenty of lighting at night to see and also created a relaxing environment. The site is next to another separate camp site, so not as private as we’d hoped. We didn’t travel around the area much, but did find a general store and gas to be 5-10 minutes away which was nice. The host was very informative and available if needed to make sure we had a wonderful time.
