Woodland Lakes Resort features beautiful sunsets, mature live oak trees, Spanish moss, many species of aquatic birds, over 50 acres of privately owned fresh water lakes, salt water creeks, and walking trails all conveniently located just 24 miles from downtown Savannah, less than an hour from Tybee Island, Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island beaches. Campsite is Located only 10 minutes from exit 76 off of Interstate 95.Beautifully fenced in private 50ft x 60ft bungalow lot with a breathtaking marsh view. 10ft x 40ft landing pad for your camper or RV. Bath house with showers and pump out station located at front of community entrance. Bath house is not that great. There are some camper lots that are dilapidated at the back of the neighborhood. This lot is in the nicer area. “High and dry land” no risk of getting stuck.

Coastal Lot

Besides the other camp/rv houses that are the neighborhood there that does bring the looks of things down but once you get to Mathew's spot is a pretty sweat one. It's clean, neat, has plenty of room for either kids to play or your dogs to run with an added fenced in yard so you have alil better privacy which is what you'd want when staying there. He also has a nice large costume made fire pit with few chairs around it n always has firewood if you need. All n all it was a good place n you can see how he respects his land n takes care of it which makes it even nicer when your there. Thanks Matthew we'll see ya again someday 🌻🪵

Pick this one :)

This is such a fantastic place to stay. The privacy fence around the lot makes it so you have your own little yard. There’s a nice fire pit to enjoy. We stayed for an extended stay of 20ish days. Owner is easy to communicate with and offered more firewood if we needed it. 10/10 recommend. Neighborhood has a low key vibe- can see the marsh across the street- lakes for fishing- neighbors were super friendly when we walked our dogs.

Great getaway. Private and Quiet

Great getaway. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Very nice set up. Matt the host was very helpful and has done a wonderful job sprucing up the place for very pleasant stay,. I enjoyed taking my dog for a walk in the morning in the peaceful setting. Found a nice path around the one lake. Got some beautiful photos around the lake. Quiet and safe place to enjoy.

Great Place to Stop During Travels

We decided to stop on the way back to Florida from North Carolina since it was a long drive with two little kids and the space was perfect for a night! The fenced in area with the SOD and fire pit were perfect for us and we were able to get the travel trailer hooked up quickly to water and electric.

Great spot!

Perfect little spot to stop! Tucked into a little fenced area, it felt private and safe. Matthew came by and made sure we had everything we needed and brought us some wood for a campfire. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Matthew!

Hidden Gem

We had a great time staying at Matthew's Hipcamp site. He has carved out a very pleasant experience from what was a stand of woods. He's laid down sod for a lawn, put in 50 amp power, built a nice fire pit with chairs and has water available as well. Matthew was on hand when we arrived and helped us get squared away. There is a nice view of the marsh across the street.
