We absolutely loved tent camping here!! We brought our large tent with 3 dogs and the set up was perfect. The host, George, was so accommodating and wonderful to chat with when he came to check-in. He replaced our firewood, took out our trash, and kept the portable bathroom immaculate daily. Perfect spot!

This campsite was beautiful and extremely well-maintained. The host was friendly and helpful, bathroom was immaculate, wood was plentiful, and the host even set up our campfire for us. Also can’t beat the location. We will be back!

A hidden gem
What a gem this camp is! My friend and I came to have a camp access point to the mining tunnel and this experience blew us away. The hosts are amazing, accommodating, and so kind. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the land. We will definitely be back soon.

George and his wife were awesome host! Great communication leaving up to the trip. Met us upon arrival, helped us start our fire and emptied the trash each day. His dog, Chase, was super friendly and played well with our pup. Porta potty was very clean! Only downfall was the proximity to the other campsites. However, we only ended up having neighbors for 1 night, so it wasn’t bad.

Great camping experience!
My husband and I have been long time fans of this spot since we moved here in 2016. George and his family have transformed this small river side trail into beautiful little nature experience with a few river front camp sites, tubes for use in summer, large hand-crafted wooden gathering tables as well as a gorgeous and quite unique little grilling station with multiple grill! Plenty of places to cook, provided fire wood, kindling, and a well lit, clean port-a-potty that had plenty of toilet tissue plus hand sanitizer! Always friendly welcoming vibes when we visit this spot for camping or just a walk by the river.
