We were lucky enough to buy our slice of paradise when the State of Florida banned logging within 1,000 feet of the river. My riverside Gazebo came with the property and I am delighted to share it with campers. Learn more about this land: Our pet friendly (2 dog maximum) G Spot, Ginny’s Gazebo, offers a unique outdoor experience with some of the amenities of home. Primitive camping amenities include a pop-up port-a-potty, potable water tank, charcoal grill, picnic table, Tiki torches and a firepit. Arrangements can be made with Jerry Pierre, the River Concierge, for tents, river inner tubes, transportation, ice and anything else you might need to make your stay a pleasant one. Fish from our banks, swim in the river, float downriver in a tube from our own launch, and hike along the clearly marked Orange-blazed Florida Trail with bird watching, sunbathing on sugar sand beaches, meditating on our riverbank Zen deck and roasting marshmallows around a roaring campfire, await you at our private and exclusive retreat. Folk and music festivals throughout the year are within a 15-minute drive. Go on eco-adventures, dine alfresco  or just spend the day in a hammock  watching the river go by. No electricity, internet or TV connections, so you can unplug from your devices if you wish and get away from it all.Our Wedding Venue, The G spot, Ginny's Gazebo, is the most romantic, pet friendly place to tie the knot. Perched on the bank of the Suwannee River in North Florida, our Gazebo sits at the edge of our forest on a bluff overlooking the river and the setting sun. This private and exclusive wedding venue is perfect for small gatherings of 20 or less. We provide the wooden Gazebo, white gauzy floor to ceiling curtains, tiki torches to line the astroturf aisle, log benches to sit 20, a picnic table, and a porta potty. Additional arrangements can be made with Jerry Pierre, the River Concierge.

“Purt near perfect!
I’m not sure you could find a more perfect spot. The gazebo overlooks the river. We hiked, napped, and sat by the fire making s’mores that Ginny provided ingredients for. Jerry set us up and checked in to make sure we were ok, but was not obtrusive. We had a great time talking with him and learning a little bit about the property. Definitely want to return and spend a bit more time exploring the river.

Beautiful site with gracious hosts. Ginny gifted us a basket upon our arrival with all the fixings for s'mores. We got a flat tire on the way into town and also forgot our air pump....Jerry hooked us up with a tire patch and let us borrow his pump. A real lifesaver. This section of the Suwannee is scenic and peaceful and Disappearing Creek proved to be a little slice of heaven as well. Highly recommend.

The G Spot on the Suwannee River
Super cute
Ginny and the private camping spot were awesome! Beautiful view of the river. We were able to hike to disappearing creek and further onto the Florida trail which was just beautiful. She provided a little smore kit which was a nice touch. The gazebo was adorable and taken straight out of a fairy tale. Little tip- Don't follow the hipcamp GPS directions though- find the packet that was emailed (mine was in spam so check there) and look for the address on the top of the packet. We got a little misdirected from the hipcamp GPS coordinates.

The Real Florida
Most glorious secluded section of the Suwannee River. If your looking for Mother Nature she’s here with all her glory. Ginny’s spot on the river has trails, creeks flowing into the river, amazing bluffs above the river, and amazing towering pines and oaks. Also you can feel free and have a good swim in the pristine Suwannee. Yet all this is in walking distance. I threw my kayak in as well and experienced the river up close, was amazing! lGinny is great and she’s very welcoming. Jerry is great also. He graciously show’s you around this beautiful place and provides you with the highlights. They’re awesome people! I highly recommend this Hipcamp! You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back! Thanks Ginny & Jerry!!

Camping on the Suwannee
The hosts were very nice and communicated well from the first time I contacted them. They were very accommodating taking me on a tour of the property and showing me places to access the river. The gazebo is nice and has two antigravity chairs to sit in. It was especially nice when a bad storm came up and we were able to seek shelter under there. If you are looking for a secluded primitive camping spot with a view of the Suwannee...it is perfect
