PLEASE BE ADVISED that our property offers campsites on a first-come, first-served basis. While you'll be reserving an individual site, the specific campsite selection will occur upon your arrival. The availability of 30 and 50-amp electric hookups is also on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed depending on availability. However, water hoses are provided for all sites, although bringing your own hose is recommended. Located just outside the South Gate entrance of Everglades National Park, our farm is a truly unique destination where you'll be welcomed by the presence of wild rescue dogs. Nestled within a sanctuary bustling with various bird species, amidst an exotic tropical fruit grove, our property spans 200 acres surrounded by palm tree farms. Experience breathtaking sunsets from our southernmost western location in the United States. Fall asleep under the stars and awaken to the opportunity to pick your own tropical fruit for just $2 per pound. Indulge in our deliciously sweet star fruit, boasting ten times the vitamin C of oranges. Please note that wifi is not available on-site. Conveniently located just a minute's drive away, you'll find an array of attractions including Schnebly's Winery, offering locally crafted wines and beers. Tropical Robert's fruit stand awaits with its delectable tropical fruit shakes infused with soft-serve ice cream, made from rare tropical fruits. And don't miss Knauas Berry Farm, where you can indulge in Amish-made cinnamon rolls while picking fresh strawberries and herb sticks. Furthermore, we're only a 40-minute drive from Key Largo, offering opportunities for snorkeling and fishing in this tropical paradise.

Friendly Stay
Staying at the fruit farm was a great experience! Robert and the farm manager were so friendly and kind. The property was fully fenced which we appreciated having kids wanting to move around. We'd stay there again!

Host was extremely friendly and helpful. We did not stay because site looked nothing like picture. It was basically parking in a yard that had debris scattered around, a hospital potty chair at entrance. There were also about 6 large dogs off leash.

Quiet shady stay
Bob was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The location was quiet and shady. Overall we were happy with our stay. One caution if you have young kids, I felt like they needed closely supervised around the dogs.

Sweet farm
Enjoyed our overnight stay at Fresh Gardens. The dogs are lovely and we got a kick out of watching the lizards scurry about.

We came in late and left early, but the host was responsive and helped us get in. There were four very sweet dogs who greeted us. Definitely follow the directions to get to the site as the road in from the left was very rough and difficult to navigate.

Great quiet place
Robert is a very nice host. He made sure that we were ok with the site for our RV. He took us for a visit of his farm which was very interesting. The site is not very far from the entry for the Keys which was perfect for us. His dogs are so nice and they like to be pet... a lot !!!😉
