We are The Florida Coalition for Peace and Justice. We are 1.7 miles away from the Florida Trail, minutes away from Hampton Lake with a boat dock, and a short drive away from multiple Florida springs and natural attractions. We have 15 acres under 100 yr old Pecan grove. Surrounding view is a 120 acres of pine forest, 40 have been cleared. There are wetlands and cypress groves and a beautiful view of the sky, good for star gazing or birding. Tent camping is available in flexible but designated areas around the property. We have edible plants, chickens, dogs, and other wild life, like gopher tortoises, who call this area their home. There is occasionally a buzz around the grounds with activity with our many projects, but the stillness of the late nights and early mornings lend to a peace filled atmosphere. A tour of all the grounds and mission of our 501c3 may be offered upon request. We have a meeting hall called the Peace Education Center that is available for group activities upon request.

Common Ground Grove Tent 2
Amazing place!
Sara was incredibly welcoming and accommodating! She gave me the option of staying indoors inside of roughing it in the cold weather. I was also so grateful to utilize the community space and have access to the kitchen and restrooms so long as I made contributions/donations and cleaned up after myself. This is such a haven for anyone who needs to make a pit stop and recharge. There’s a hiker box where you can take some and leave some things for fellow hikers. Not only did I feel so safe here but they also invited me to the Friendsgiving dinner and just open heartedly welcomed me into their community. It was truly a wonderful and memorable trip coming to this great place and meeting these great people. They gave me so many tips for the road and wished me a safe trip across country! I’m so glad I came and I’m definitely coming back in the future. I highly recommend this spot!

The place was gorgeous camping and I'm luckily that I am only the one who stay for one night. I love the energy when I got here. Matched my values and definitely feel safe and comfortable to stay.

Common Ground Grove Tent 2
Hidden gem for sure!
What a great place! Quiet with plenty of indoor space to get out of the weather or temperature. What a neat educational center and wonderful hosts, great conversation and you can tell they really care about this place and the world. If you are looking for an easy spot to spend the night without the hassle of major public campgrounds or loud, annoying RV campgrounds this is the place!

The grounds were beautiful, clean, Quiet and peaceful! Sara, is very friendly and welcoming. We have Verizon and had no problem with signal. There were restaurants in the communities close by if needed. We would definitely stay again.

Wandering Grace
Glamping in Central Florida!
This was a lovely getaway to nature. We stayed in the 5th wheel (Wandering Grace) and it was cozy and affordable! The location was ideal for nearby hiking and bike riding. Sara was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone looking to unplug, connect with nature and enjoy relaxed community vibe.

Common Ground
Perfect No Frills Camping
Staying at Common Ground was perfect for me. Sara helped me find a great little nook to hammock camp, and access to the Peace Education Center provided bathroom, shower, and cooking facilities within a few feet of the campsite (well worth the extra few dollars). There was also firewood and a fire pit that was also designed for cooking for no additional charge. Sara was extremely welcoming and friendly and while I was the only one camping during my stay, I imagine the mission of the center would attract great company. If you're looking for a pool, a bar, etc., this isn't the place for you, but this campsite and the education center provided everything anyone could possibly need for a short or long term stay with wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend!
