Set the edge of Exmoor, we have unrivalled coastal views, direct access to the South West Coast Path and Combe Martin bay is just a little walk away (perfect for paddle-boarding and dolphin spotting!). Choose your pitch, settle down by a fire pit and watch the sun set across Combe Martin bay. With pizza’s available on some weekends, breakfast baguettes for breakfast and a selection of farm produce available - we have everything you could need, we are campervan friendly too. With footpaths from the farm in all directions you can join the South West Coast Path or just ramble down to the village where there are shops, cafes and pubs a plenty. With full flushing toilets and hot showers, as well as a washing up area, there is even an old railway carriage with electric plugs to charge your phone or dry your hair, with a fridge and freezer to look after your supper too. We are a small site focusing on that quiet get-away. There is no road noise, just the farmer going about his day job, who’s more than happy to chat about the wildlife, birds and weather!Your Pitch at Girt Down is a lovely grass field with unrivalled views. You choose where you would like to watch the sunset or sunrise with undesignated pitches. With hot water showers and a communal area to charge your phone or keep your groceries in the fridge, we have everything you could need for a rural getaway. Being a working farm you may see the farmer going about his daily jobs, or see the sheep in the other fields grazing away. Paul, the farmer, is always happy to stop and have a chat about the local wildlife or the best bird watching spots. He will even be happy to get you a fire pit and some logs should you wish to hire one. Join the South West Coast Path and enjoy all of the spectacular surrounding areas including Combe Martin Bay, Heddon’s Mouth and Valley of the Rocks. We are a dog friendly site, but ask that you please do keep them on leads whilst on the site due to farm animals close by. There is an additional charge of £3 per night per dog to be selected upon booking.

Such a lovely quiet site with fantastic views. Stayed in our campervan with our dog so having the facilities on site were just what we needed. Great to chat with Paul as he went about his daily activies.

Hidden gem
Beautiful place with lots of trails and hiking opportunities. The land for camping is spacious and the shared areas are lovely! Clean toilets, washing up area, even a little cart for a peaceful sit down and charging station! Will visit again with friends!

Fabulous little gem of a campsite!
Fantastic campsite. Breathtakingly gorgeous views, and Lesley and Paul were perfect hosts. Would highly recommend it.

This place is a piece of paradise with a spectacular view🤩🏕, we just love it, also the pizza is amazing 🍕top! The hosts are very kind and hospitable❤ we definitely keep saved as favourite places and we would like to come back asap as we have the opportunity!

Amazing place to camp!
An amazing place to camp! The views are stunning and the service amazing! We had pizzas delivered to our tent, and enjoyed lovely breakfast on the day we left. Showers had good pressure, the water was warm, and everything was nice and clean! Thank you, we will definitely return! :)
