Enjoy 40 acres of semi-backcountry themed camping next to a 18-hole disc golf course. Stay in an airplane, VW bus, or shepherds wagon. Remote and private far away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to civilization if needed. There are several rock outcroppings, tons of trees and a seasonal creek and waterfall. There is a moderate hike to/from the sites, we can take you and your gear to it via utv or if you have Awd SUV or 4wd, you can drive to the sites. Close to the historic gold-mining towns of Victor and Cripple Creek. Take the Gold-belt byway scenic driving loop down Phantom Canyon to Canon City and back via Shelf Road. Fishing is 20 minutes away at Skagway Reservoir.

Shepherds Wagon
Highly recommend staying!
Great personable host who takes the extra step to caravan with 1st timers to show them where to go! Host also chats with you when you arrive and checks on you later to make sure you’re ok! The bathroom is clean and stocked and ofcourse the campsites and surrounding trails are stunningly beautiful. Definitely recommend AWD or 4WD as the pitch of the road to the camp site can be up to 10 degrees.

Great experience
Camping here was so much fun! The hosts were amazing, so welcoming and kind to my kids. The bus and it's deck were super comfortable. I'm thrilled we found this, we will be back, many times

Shepherds Wagon
Had the best time staying with my daughter in the restored wagon. It was the neatest experience and the size of the place was perfect. The little deck on the front was great to watch the sun rise, and to sit by the fire at night. Short walk to the nicest camp bathroom that was CLEAN and well stocked! The property itself and the owners are amazing. We walked around exploring in the woods, and checked out the other super interesting accommodations they have. In the area around the property there's plenty to explore and a handful of little restaurants in the nearby towns of Victor and Cripple Creek. We'll definitely be back again!

Camping on a Plane
This campsite was magical! I wish I could say how much I love this campsite. The hosts were so wonderful. I was there with my boyfriend and our dog. We stayed on the plane. Myself 5'2 + bf is 6'4 + our medium-sized dog. It was tight but it was not uncomfortable; we could all move around. Tami is very responsive. She answers all of my questions within 8 hours. She provided us with clear directions on how to get there (please read the instructions before arrival, it is crucial). When we arrived, she was right there to show us to our site. They are so kind and generous with their time and their beautiful property. Everything is made out of love and care. Tami's husband said, "Everything is so expensive these days. We just want to make things reasonable so people can come out and enjoy themselves". It is so refreshing to have crossed paths with people who still uphold good old values like that! You can feel their passion in every inch of the property. The property is well-kept, safe, and quiet. OH, the bathroom! It is by far the cleanest bathroom I have ever used at the campsite and even cleaner than some of the hotel's bathrooms I have stayed at (I travel a lot). I highly recommend Tami's Land for everyone!

I’m always on the lookout for something different, this was it! From the second we arrived our hosts Were Friendly and accommodating. They showed us to the airplane and it was everything. I thought it would be the views were great. The deck was amazing and sleeping inside was comfortable and warm even though it was cold outside we are definitely coming back and I can’t Recommend this more… It was so fun

Great campsite in Phantom Canyon!
Such a unique experience! The plane and the campsite were so cool and well maintained. We felt secluded from other camp sites as well. In terms of views, they were amazing! Luckily for us, we got to see some early aspen leaf changes throughout our weekend. It was also a great location for star gazing at night (the plane had a skylight that made it even cozier to lay and watch the stars). Hosts Tami and Larry made checking in and finding the campsite really easy - they were very communicative. We so appreciate their kindness and for building such a cool campground! They were in the process of finishing up a couple more sites so make sure to check them out!
