Agritourism. Farmland west of Berthoud, Colorado, usually planted in corn. We enjoy an ever-changing view of the Rocky Mountain front range, with Longs Peak being most prominent. There is a historic barn on the property (not near the camping site) and lots of places to go for a walk. Beautiful views of Longs Peak and the Rocky Mountains. 7 miles to Carter Lake, 33 miles to Estes Park, 20 miles to Fort Collins, 27 miles to Boulder. Our home is completely off the grid, so there is no extra power or water. Tents are welcome, as well as RVs, pickups, vans, and cars. Rustic. NO OPEN FIRES Site #1 is on the edge of a hayfield. It has a picnic table. It can accommodate vehicles or tents. Limited shade at this site. Site #2 is on the far west edge of the hayfield. It also has a picnic table and chairs. ***We are not able to offer refunds for bad weather. The weather in Colorado can change hourly. ***This is a working farm with trucks and tractors coming and going and pivot irrigation systems turning on and off during growing season. ***Dogs must be kept on a leash when other campers are present. We are 15 minutes from Longmont, 8 minutes from Loveland, 45+ minutes to Estes Park (depending on traffic). We are about 12-15 minutes off of I-25 and about 1 mile from Hwy 287.

Loved camping out at Sandra’s farm! I stayed 3 nights while taking a class in Longmont. Camped at site #2 and was typically at the site between 5PM & 9AM. Sandra was also very attentive throughout my stay to keeping my site free of any garbage I had collected and a clean groover(potty). Open sky views of distant mountains, great sunsets & sunrises, deer, hawks… nature. I really enjoyed my time here! My favorite parts were rinsing off in the provided solar shower before bed each night & watching a momma hawk and her babies hunting with the setting sun! Don’t think I’ve ever seen baby hawks in person come to think of it! Would stay again & I highly recommend if you are looking to get out of the city during your visit!🪶🌄🚿✨🥰🙌🏽

Site 2

Site 2 is a very peaceful spot with the feeling of seclusion. I loved watching the hawks in the distance cottonwood tree. There is a wonderful little shade nook with comfy chairs and a small table. I stayed in my 26ft travel trailer for 2 nights. No hookups so I was unable to use my air conditioning which would have come in handy in the 93 degree day. Sandra offered a bucket loo and filtered water, which I did not need, but it was nice they were available. The picnic table at the site has a cracked bench seat and the paint is chipping, but it’s out in the sun so I mostly sat in the shade nook. There was some dog waste from a previous camper that I did remove, but other than that the grass was mowed short and plenty of room to park. I enjoyed walks on the circular driveway with views of the distance mountains. Sandra was quick to respond to all my correspondences.
