4 acres hosted by Marilee A.
Hello Sunshine! Hello Blue Skies! Hello Rocky Mountains!
Our cabin & property is located in the northern end of South Park -- yes, THAT South Park from the famous TV show (!), and sits at the western foot of Kenosha Pass in the Pike National Forest. This spot is nestled on 4 private wooded acres of aspen and pine trees and rock outcroppings.
If you like to bike, hike, fish, relax and/or ride your ATV, then bring your friends and family -- fun times await!
A 90-minute drive from west Denver, our cute cabin is sits atop 4 private acres and is located approximately one mile from Hwy 77 and Stagestop Road in a secluded and quiet neighborhood surrounded by meadows, pine, and aspen trees. In addition, the cabin is less than 5 minutes away from national forest -- so bring your ATVs. The cabin has a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, auto coffee maker, toaster oven, and blender (but no microwave!) This cabin, while updated and very comfy, is "rustic" in terms that it does not have WIFI and you'll want to bring your own water to drink. Also, reliable cell phone reception is not guaranteed. Verizon seems to work fine... from the deck!
Locally, the most notable landmarks in Jefferson are a historic one-room schoolhouse and the Historic Jefferson Denver, South Park and Pacific Railroad (DSP&P RR) Depot (c. 1880), highly visible in the surrounding grasslands of South Park.
