Welcome to Waterfall Camp. Come enjoy your stay with us on our beautiful 5-acre property centrally located, its only 10 min to the village of Mendocino, 5 minute drive to Caspar beach and 10 min to the town of Fort Bragg. Nestled on the edge of the Redwoods and Pygmy Forest, adjacent to Russian Gulch State Park. The property has private access into park which consists of many miles of beautiful Redwood trails, the trail to the waterfall, biking trails along with a trail that leads straight to the ocean. Come and relax around your private campfire and cook over the open flames or treat yourself to fine dining in Mendocino or Fort Bragg, the experience is at your fingertips. From camping under the stars to hiking and biking through the redwoods or kayaking up Big River, come let the Mendocino coast show you what it’s all about. Our goal is to make you feel right at home. Each of our three sites has a redwood deck with a sink and food prep space, potable water, remote solar lighting, picnic table, smokeless fire pit and grill, firewood, level parking area and tent pad. One of the three sites can accommodate a 25’ trailer. There is a beautiful redwood bathhouse with two outdoor showers and two flushing toilets. All water onsite is potable so make sure to top off before your day of adventuring. There is a horseshoe pit, cornhole, and badminton set for fun under the sun. All sites are a two min walk to the State Park trails and 5 min ride to Jackson state forest bike trails. It's about a half hour walk to the beautiful waterfall from our property. Large Groups are welcome to book all three sites with two additional RV locations. Also we have a fully stocked westfalia camper van to glamp in if your wanting to pack light for the weekend. We hope to make your stay with us a memorable and fun experience. Shay & Liz

Camping with 4 large dogs!
Amazing stay at Stargazer site 3 with our Sprinter van and 4 dogs. Shay & Liz thought of everything. The showers and toilets were nice to have even though it only had a shower curtain but no one else was at the camp so it was fine.

Such a nice camping spot! Shay dropped by to say hi and made sure we knew he was around to help put if needed. We stayed in campsite #1, which was great because it felt quite private while being conveniently near the common area / bathrooms. Bathrooms and showers were super clean. Camp sink came with dish soap and a sponge. Loved that firewood was provided and the grill worked amazing for our barbecue. It started raining in the evening (which we had seen in the weather forecast), which made it a bit more difficult to cook outdoors and pack up camp the next day, although it was nice to fall asleep to the rain sounds. The other sites had umbrellas by the picnic tables which would have been helpful to shield some things from rain. Overall a great experience, I’d recommend it! As you should for any camping trip, make sure you’re prepared for whatever weather might come up.

Wonderful campsite in Mendocino
What a beautiful campsite! It was our first time booking a private campsite and I’m not sure if I want to go back to regular campsites after staying here. Shay & Liz provided everything you need for a wonderful stay, especially with a young toddler. The waterfall hike is beautiful and an easy hike from the campsite. Shay was super friendly and made sure we had everything we need.

Love this place
Second time camping here. So many nice thoughtful touches. Hot showers, quiet campsite, walking trails, and bonus kitchen counter and sink at each camp site. Very accommodating hosts with quick response times. Thank you Shay and Liz! We will be back!

Amazing Camping for Family and Frie
Shay and Liz have made an amazing place for people to come and have an adventure together. The site is well thought out and provides many amenities that regular campsites do not have. We had a wonderful time, the hosts were gracious and kind. The fellow campers were respectful and generous. It felt like a real community and there was so much positive energy. The hiking trails were also amazing and the waterfall trail was truly a site to see. We will definitely be coming back. -Andrea, Jordan, Orin and Bernie
