Welcome to our rustic retreat in rural Butte County, a haven we've called home since 1997. Nestled on 14 acres, our family farm offers a unique camping experience where you and your children can embrace the freedom to run and explore. Walk the property and connect with nature while visiting our alpaca, sheep, kittens, dog, and chickens. Take a leisurely stroll down a country road or stargaze under the clear night sky from the open circle of Adirondack chairs. Bask in the tranquility of this quiet country space, where fresh air abounds. Our location is a gateway to numerous outdoor adventures such as the Feather River, Lake Oroville, Lassen Volcanic Park and Table Mountain, and is just 22 minutes from downtown Chico and Cal State University, Chico. Discover local gems like the Bidwell Mansion, Bidwell Park, Lime Saddle Marina, Butte Creek Canyon, and the Honey Run Covered Bridge, all within a short drive. Paradise is known for its antiquing, mountain biking, and kayaking, and many enjoy its historic biking and walking trail along the old railroad line. Visit the Paradise Depot Museum, or the Gold Nugget Museum for a trip back in time. While you're surrounded by nature, enjoy the convenience of great cell service and Wi-Fi, perfect for streaming on our smart TVs with our fiber optic service. Should you need anything during your stay – be it a Band-Aid, needle and thread, or kitchen essentials – simply let us know. Our property is home to playful kittens and our friendly border collie, Caspian, who roams freely. If preferred, Caspian can be kenneled upon request. Escape to our farm stay and experience the best of rural living with modern comforts. Your adventure awaits!

So peaceful!
Well-appointed, safe, and peaceful. Carolyn and Julio keep their property immaculate and their attention to detail extends to their guests and guest quarters as well. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. Thank you, Julio and Carolyn!

Serene, idyllic, and beautiful
I have never been inside a tiny house before and I loved it! The ranch was so peaceful and lovely, Carolyn and Julio really put so much into this special place. I had a restful weekend, a good reset. Thank you for the great space you’ve shared with me and I will be back the next time I’m in the area!!

Sweet and magical little place
Cutest little spot. It definitely lived up to its motto of a restful place. The sunset view was magic and Carolyn and Julio’s attention to detail definitely shows in how meticulous the grounds are kept. We would definitely love to come back someday.

Perfect place to rest and relax. The property has so many special touches that make this place amazing. The tiny house was just what I needed for a weekend away to reset and refresh. Had everything I needed. Host are very thoughtful (eggs, coffee, tea and muffins were a special treat).

Wonderfully Peaceful Stay
We absolutely loved our stay at the ranch, it was just the right amount of peace and relaxation we needed. We were greeted by Caspian, the happy ranch dog, three cats, a few sheep, and an adorable alpaca named Machu Picchu. There were tasty muffins waiting for us in the kitchen (my husband practically inhaled them all they were so good). The space in the tiny house was very clean, neat, and comfortable. If staying in the tiny house, you can cook a small or light meals in the tiny house, as there is a hot plate available - we recommend bringing pre-cooked food or ingredients for simple cooking. Our bed was sooo comfortable, and big. We went on a peaceful walk around the property, and spent time reading and playing card games under the trees in front of the tiny house. There were beautiful views in all directions. We met Julio, one of the owners - a wonderfully kind human. We were able to look into the other white tiny house as it was unoccupied - and we will come back to try that one! Carolyn and Julio have created a peaceful space to have some respite from the busy outside world, we enjoyed taking nice deep breaths there. Thank you so much to you both!
