Explore the surrounding area's charming attractions, including Bridgeport's picturesque river, historic covered bridge, and idyllic beaches, all just a short drive away. Lake Englebright is also nearby, providing a serene retreat just 15 minutes from our doorstep. Enjoy the local charm, with downtown Nevada City and Grass Valley within easy reach, featuring a range of dining options, live music venues, and nightlife. Our local area is a nature lover's paradise, with plenty of hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, and opportunities for biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. We're excited to share our two kayaks with you during your stay. Our cozy granny unit is equipped with all the essentials, including plates, cups, silverware, and cooking utensils. Please note that we don't provide bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, or body soap, so be sure to pack these essentials for your getaway.Escape to our charming granny unit, where you'll find a full bathroom, separate toilet room and shower. The loft is a serene retreat for sleeping, and the AC unit and portable heater ensure a comfortable temperature. Cook up a storm with our hot plate, instant water pot, microwave and toaster oven. Outside, the yard beckons with two benches and a burn pit, ideal for savoring the fresh air. Our home's unique location on a ridge line offers spectacular views of sunsets and sunrises. While the granny unit is nestled down the hill, it provides the perfect balance of privacy and community. Our three friendly dogs will keep you company, and be sure to indulge in our seasonal gardens.
