Escape the hustle and bustle of city life as you unwind in my charming 120-square-foot (10 x 12 ft) tiny house, thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality. We are located about 30 minutes north of Placerville in the Swansboro/Mosquito area. The cozy living accommodations has a key-less entry and features two sleeping areas: a tiny loft with a twin-sized bed and on the main floor, a small sofa that converts into a small bed that is 39 inches wide and 66 inches long. Sheets, comforters, and pillows are provided for the beds. There is a ceiling fan, small electric heater, and an air conditioner as well. The small kitchen provides all the essentials to whip up delicious meals including a two burner hot plate, pots and pans, toaster, french press, plates, bowls, and eating utensils, spices and condiments, as well as complimentary tea and coffee. The tiny bathroom includes a metal tub with a copper shower and a compostable toilet. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. There are two chairs on the screened-in porch to enjoy the sunset in the evenings or your coffee/tea in the mornings. Situated a mere 10 minutes drive away is the pristine Finnon Lake, inviting you to indulge in a refreshing swim or a tranquil paddle amidst breathtaking scenery. The beautiful Rock Creek is just a 15-minute drive, promising invigorating water holes to swim or wade in. Wonderful forest hiking trails are also nearby in the El Dorado National Forest. The tiny house is a mere 25 feet from my own home but there is a bamboo privacy fence between us that will give you plenty of privacy. In addition, I have several small beautiful dogs on the property that may bark during the initial visit of guests. I look forward to sharing the beauty of my home with you and hope that your stay here will bring you the tranquility and rejuvenation you might need.Escape the hustle and bustle of city life as you unwind in my charming 120-square-foot (10 x 12 ft) tiny house. Maite’s property is absolutely amazing and she was an excellent host. The area is breathtaking! The instructions to the site are perfect. The tiny home has everything you want or need. There is also an enclosed yard if you bring your dog.

Cozy Weekend Getaway
We lover our stay at the tiny house! It was the perfect size for my husband, dog and I for a nice weekend getaway. The home was equipped with everything we needed for a short stay with a well stocked kitchen and foldable tables. It was a peaceful stay and we felt very safe here. The road up is a bit long and windy (our pup got car sick) so make sure to grab what you need in town beforehand. Maite was incredibly welcoming and lovely to chat with. We’d love to stay here again and explore more trails in the area.

Tiny House
Maite was a lovely host and went above preparing the house for me, my fiancée, and dog. Our dog had a blast exploring the trails nearby and woods in the back. Also, as long as your dog does not hop fences, you should be okay having your dog off leash within the gated area. There is also a pretty winding road you have to drive through to get to town and back, but other than that everything was great!
