Tired of the scorching heat? Come chill out on the coast where it's always 20 degrees cooler than everywhere else. Located in the coastal prairie minutes from the Pacific Ocean and the town of Point Arena. Plenty of privacy to launch into day trips and other adventures in this special corner of the world. The Octagon and the campsite offer solitude, stunning views, bird watching, and walking trails on the property. We're 5 mins from town, the cove, various beaches, tide pools, the historic lighthouse, fishing spots, and the B Bryan Animal Preserve where you can view African animals and hand feed giraffes. Come find what you've been missing!

We loved how quiet and remote it felt, even though there were some houses at a distance. We saw and heard wild critters and enjoyed the beautiful views. It's easy to get to and mostly out of view of the other dwellings on the property.

Beautiful and restorative!
We had a wonderful stay in Point Arena! Paul was an exceptional host—very communicative and responsive. The property was stunning, and the octagon itself was beautiful space, and provided a cozy retreat. It was the perfect escape from city life. A private yoga session and sound bath with Kimberly was truly a special experience. We’re so grateful for our time there and would love the chance to return. We highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a unique off-grid or glamping experience (with wifi and cell-service)!

Absolutely magical.
The space was magical. I had an overwhelming sense of peace feeling the emptiness of the space and seeing the views from the gorgeous windows. I felt like the weekend in silence truly healed my soul and I recommend anyone who wants privacy and comfort to come here. There was power for my to play my music, and a heater when it got chilly. The bed was really cozy too. Paul was really accommodating and responsive. I will definitely be back. 🫂💗

10/10 Experience with a Pup!
With pets ·
Beautiful property, private and safe, so quiet and peaceful. We loved the simplicity of the Octagon and the beautiful exposed wood. We loved looking up at the stars at night through the octagonal window above the bed. Yoga in front of the West facing windows left me feeling refreshed and aligned. Our dog loved the open space and all of the windows! We ate breakfast and birdwatcher on the deck in the mornings which was so amazing! The shower was wonderful and the composting toilet was a breeze! Truly a 10/10 experience and we will be coming back!
