Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
HOME found me in late June 2019 after a two-year journey to get out of the city. Looking back, I feel like I left at the right time.  This is our top-end accommodation a one bedroom cabin with its own small kitchen, bathroom and living room with a wood stove. A beautiful spot to check out. The sofa folds out into a queen size bed, can easily accommodate up to four people. The cabin has all basic amenities, kitchen, bathroom, etc. We are not pet friendly.  "4 of us enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We made a simple, delicious dinner in the kitchen, enjoyed talking around the fire pit, slept, enjoyed a morning walk in the neighborhood, ate breakfast, and then headed out for an afternoon at the river. We chose the cabin, because our little adventure was only 1 night, which seemed too short for setting up a campsite. The cabin met our need perfectly. We had air mattresses and sleeping bags with us; 1 person used the double bed, and the other 3 opted to use air mattresses. I would happily return for another stay!" "This site definitely suited our needs for the weekend we stayed. Josh was very accommodating before we even showed up and was welcoming once we got there. It’s a great little retreat into the woods and convenient as far as being able to access Scott’s Flat Lake nearby. It is also nice and quiet at night so that is definitely a plus."This is our top-end accommodation a one bedroom cabin with its own small kitchen, bathroom and living room with a woodstove. Camp HOME - The Cabin in the Woods
I spend three days with my girlfriend, beautiful place, in the woods, with a creek, super quiet, really close to town. Nice house, shower, bed, tv, wifi, everything is perfect! Josh is an amazing host! Highly recommend!

Camp HOME - The Cabin in the Woods
Great minimalist stay
Im used to tent camping so any step up from that is a breeze for me. Josh was helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable and there were random dog friends to pet. The shower was clean with excellent water pressure. We were able to cook meals for four with relative ease in the tiny kitchen area. Close to the Yuba river.

Camp HOME - The Cabin in the Woods
The cabin is very basic and clean. We were 3 friends and the place had enough space for everyone. The cabin is a work in progress. Kitchen had cute dishware. Josh was very helpful and responsive to all the questions.

Camp HOME — The Meadow
This is an awesome camping site! It's right in the middle of the forest, with beautiful trees that provide great shade coverage on hot days. It's only a short ways off the highway and, best of all, a 10 minute drive from Scotts Flat Reservoir. Josh, the host, is communicative and friendly. We had some issues with the residents' dogs approaching our camp unsupervised and bothering our leashed dogs the first day/night, but Josh found out and immediately remedied the situation, which we were very grateful for. There's a clean portapotty and access to potable water, which is really all we needed. For an extra fee, Josh provides a campfire pit and firewood, which is incredibly cozy and convenient. Overall, a great experience! We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends.
