Desert Vistas Near A Dry Lakebed!
The perfect stop
I booked a stay for one night at Scott’s campsite to cut my drive to Utah in half and it went beautifully. We arrived around 1am. It was a cloudy night, and the moon had just set so it was very dark but his instructions were very clear and made everything easy. It was exactly what I imagine when I think of “the middle of nowhere”. At bed time, we could hear a train horn in the distance and it’s low rumble as it passed through the desert though it was not bothersome at all. It actually put me right to sleep! The next morning we made breakfast and took off. I am definitely keeping this place in mind for the future.

Desert Vistas Near A Dry Lakebed!
Confusing spot but great views!
Used this spot as a place to stay after a long drive. Once I had gotten there it was great! Cool desert vibes and isolation but the directions were a big unclear and hard to follow. I wasn’t really sure where I was allowed to stay or not because there are no property lines out there and I had to rely on google maps property lines to make sure I wasn’t on someone else’s land. You might also want to make sure you have some kind of awd or 4wd vehicle.
