The Tent
Keri was so friendly and helpful, showing us around the place the first day and offering the suggestion that we take a trip to Julian for the second day (so worth it). The third day we got to spend some time with the alpacas, goats, and farm dog - truly a delightful time!

The Tent
Lovely rustic weekend
We loved staying at the alpaca farm. Everything we needed was provided along with trips to the vegetable garden for extra goodies. The alpacas and Abby the dog are sweet. There are several beautiful comfy areas to gather in and rustic kitchen and bathing areas are charming!

The Tent
The BEST Glamping ever!
Wow! An absolute majestic get-a-way destination and just a short drive out of the city (San Diego)! What stood out? 1) The alpaca farm backdrop sets the mood of calm and peace. - The whole point to "get away", release the work week stress, and this Glamping experience exceeded expectations! 2) The sleeping quarters, especially the bed itself, was more comfortable than past Marriot Hotel rooms I have stayed (sorry Marriot, I still love ya). - There is nothing that I want more than a "Good Night Sleep" and this bed was remarkable, comfortable, and allowed me to sleep like a baby. 3) Keri and Scott are incredibly hospitable and accommodating hosts! - From the moment, my wife and I arrived, Mr. Scott greeted us, gave a campsite "familiarization" tour. It looks straight out of a story book! - Being that that this site is a working alpaca farm, there are also some egg-producing chickens nearby. Mr. Scott and Ms. Keri just may offer you some FRESH free-roaming chicken eggs; they sure were tasty! 4) The Glamping Site has a lot to offer! - No matter if San Diego is hot, cold, or in between, Scott and Keri thought these scenarios through to the smallest detail. Both heater and swamp cooler are at the ready; user friendly! - The outdoor shower was hotter than my home shower! Loved it! I strongly recommend you book this Glamping site; You'll love it too!

Deer Valley Camping
Gorgeous campsite, lovely hosts
Absolutely phenomenal getaway at Deer Valley! We could not have had a better stay. The hosts, Scott and Kerri, were phenomenal - incredibly warm, welcoming and thoughtful. The site was spic and span, they drove up to greet us a mile or two away from the site twice (even though our group we arrived staggered), they anticipated our needs and provided little add-ones like a table for dish washing and their communication was stellar. The site itself was gorgeous, set in the valley, there are beautiful views all around, lots of shade, nice outdoor amenities like picnic tables, chairs, a hammock etc ... and the outhouse they constructed was the best we have ever seen! It was perfect temperature to camp and we saw several shooting stars at night! The kids had a great time on the farm tour seeing the animals and harvesting delicious vegetables! All in all it was a very memorable trip. Thank you Scott and Keri for your wonderful hospitality! We can’t wait to be back

Deer Valley Farm Glamping
Feel so full again
Every single moment there at the farm was so precious and special, Keri and Scott are the most amazing people with kind hearts and warmth, it was like heaven and I’m not kidding. I almost want to keep this place a secret but they decided to share their farm to hipcampers so that people can experience the beautiful nature and the adorable animals and feel the beauty of life, which is what happened to me. The tension and stress I unconsciously carried these few months just melting away and all I have are smiles, so I want to share that too. OMG, I don’t know where to start!lol Ok, I’m gonna go in orders of what I saw, the PORCH. The perfect setup with cushions & flowers & lights to make you feel welcomed, and a propane BBQ grill and stove to do outside cooking. Now, this is an RV that can do everything, stoves, oven, great cooking supplies, pots, knives, containers, they had all the basic seasonings with olive oils and balsamic vinegar, coffee, tea, Japanese furikake, garbage bags, aluminum foils, cleaning supplies, French press, shampoo, conditioner, toilet papers, bug spray, etc and yet they make everything so convenient for you. It was so thorough and very well thought. I strongly suggest everyone to do all the add-on options they offer, farm tour, picking your own veggies, and eggs! I brought the eggs, zucchinis and tomatoes back home and the breakfast today was a delight! And oh the alpacas! Why are they so cute?!!! And how often do you have the chance to pet them and give treats? Well, it certainly was my first and I loved it. The extremely enthusiastic goats are ADORABLE!! We enjoyed the hike, the sunset, the starlight, the chilly morning coffee with fresh air can be my favorite. Now it does get cold at night, even in mid August. RV has heater but I suggest bringing extra layers! I used a sleeping bag and slept good 8 hours straight but one of the girl in my group woke up early morning needing to turn on the heater. Did I cover everything? Well, rest is up to you to experience. I hope everyone who gets to stay at the Deer Valley Farm to act respectfully and have the best relaxing time. Thank you again Scott & Keri, for being such amazing hosts!

Deer Valley Farm Glamping
Absolutely AMAZING
This place is amazing! Total gem in San Diego county. It’s majestically tucked away in a river bed with ancient oaks and wildlife around you. Their ranch is beautifully kept up and a perfect setting for a staycation. Also, amazing for over landing or tent camping. TONS of shade!
