I have owned this property for 20 years and we have put a lot of time and energy into making it very family friendly so that people can come camp with a picnic area, clean bathrooms, places to put your horses and dogs as long as they're on a leash. We create a great western experience and you will not be disappointed.  Learn more about this land: PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT $75 IS FOR ONE SITE AND 5 PEOPLE ONLY. Jon, his wife and the staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a great time at the ranch

Cattle & Horse Ranch
Me and my family had a great time. Can’t wait to come back. Jon was the best host you can ask for. He made my family and I feel like a part of his family. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Jon, thank you for everything you did for us. We appreciate you going out of your way to make us feel comfortable. Definitely will recommend this to all my friends

Cattle & Horse Ranch
Very good
All went well, Jon was very welcoming and happy to host us. He was flexible, did a tour of the ranch , and gave us full freedom on discovering his site. We had a very good time with all his animals, horses, pigs, chickens, goats, … Don’t hesitate to call him at check in as he might be working on his truck ☺️.

Coming back as soon as I can!!
My biggest regret about staying here is not staying longer! This is an AMAZING place to stay, and I am definitely coming back. Cows softly mooing, goats chattering (during the day, not at night), clean and wonderful property, and welcoming hosts. I even got to pet a calf - Jon invited me to stay for the day’s events, but I had to roll on. But I am definitely coming back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! There’s even a cafe (which I didn’t get to enjoy this trip, but I’m sure it’s wonderful)

Cattle & Horse Ranch
Not for camper trailers.
Jon's place was not at all what we had expected the place to be from the photos, listing, and user reviews. First for the good. This site is more suited for tent campers. The grass is green and lush, there's a bathroom close by, and a sheltered eating area. Here's what we didn't like. Most importantly, the animals are dangerous. We arrived to the site late and could hear a couple of cattle throughout the night. When we woke the next morning, we went to explore to see what animals were around. There were not that many. There was a pig in the distance and two cattle at the edge of the gravel parking lot. My family and I went up to the cattle and fed them some of the hay that was right outside their pen. Shortly after, the ranch manager informed us not to approach the cattle because they were bulls and dangerous. This was not communicated to us before our visit by Jon. We also spoke to him on the phone the day of and he neglected to warn us of these bulls by the site. No signs were posted not to approach the animals either. For a listing named Cattle and Horse Ranch and with reviews talking about feeding animals with kids, we did not have that kid friendly ranch experience. We appreciate that the ranch manager stopped by to warn us but preferred if Jon had communicated this danger to us before our visit. As I mentioned earlier, the site is good for tent campers. We traveled with a camper trailer and felt cramped in the gravel parking area. I didn't see where an advertised 36' RV or camper/vehicle could fit while being close to the grass area. The site was in between two rented out units and we we could not park with our camper door opening up to the grassy area because we would block the tenant's paved driveway that was adjacent to the site's gravel parking area. We ended up parking our minivan and camper side by side. The fire pit was a cement ring out by the gravel parking lot away from the grassy area. The firewood available was scrap osb plywood. We did not take Jon up on his offer to use the fire pit and his firewood. The swing set wobbled a lot when the kids were climbing it. The swings seats are set too high for my kids to climb up and swing on their own and the horse swing rested on the ground so the kids could not swing on it. The swing set needs to be stabilized and the swing seat heights adjusted. There was too much of the wrong things going on at Jon's property to give it a ranch feel. It was right off a busy road and between a business and apartments. We didn't mind the smell much but there was no added benefit of ranch animals to go with it.

Cattle & Horse Ranch
Great for kids
The kids had a lot of fun feeding the goats and watching the cows. Very shady campsite, great place to relax with the family.
