Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are nestled in Upper Auberry, 10 miles from Shaver Lake. Horse and hiking trails are nearby and China Peak Ski Resort and Huntington Lake are a mere 50 minutes away. Our property is fenced. Wildlife (deer, ravens, quail, dove, band-tailed pigeons, and squirrels) visit daily. The neighbor has a rooster who faithfully crows each morning for your natural alarm clock! We also have two horses and two dalmatians that you can interact with as you enjoy the quiet and super-private atmosphere. Black oaks, cedar, and manzanita provide ample shade, and there is almost always a cool Mono wind blowing.
