Summer Camp
We enjoyed camping here. Getting there with the given directions was simple during the day. On the drive in, our route had a sharp left turn which could be easy to miss if you're driving quickly. The road in is rocky and allows for one car. The facilities were clean and available. We were the only ones during our stay, so we didn't have any issues of privacy. There was one restroom building with men's and women's restrooms. One shower stand with two heads. Chris mentioned the water heater was in the attic, so hot water may take a bit to reach the showers (but we didn't end up showering). The faucets had hot water though. There was only one row boat during our stay, but it was nice to have to get on the lake. The pavillion was great to have! String lights are already hung there, and you just have to plug it in. There were outlets on a couple of the columns. There was one large firepit at the amphitheater area. We had a small fire the first night and just sat on the edge of the pit. The second night we had a larger fire and had room to arrange our chairs around it. Chris, our host, was friendly and reachable whenever we needed. Overall a great camping experience!

Lakeside 1
Really beautiful campsite with a nice covered seating area lit with fairy lights. The toilets were clean and there was a water fountain for drinking / filling up bottles. The road up to the campsite is a steep, single track road - avoid arriving after sunset as it’s a difficult drive.

Beautiful views and good Fishing
Hye Camp was beautiful! We absolutely loved it and kids had a blast. We set up our tents at lakeside and the views were great. Bathrooms, soccer field, basketball court, and both ponds were very close and an easy walk. Like listed in other reviews the bathrooms were very clean. Both ponds were stocked with fish. Our camp had caught about 12, all of which were Bass and 1 Bluegill. We had a great time.

Beautiful views and good fishing
Camp Hye Sierra was awesome! Restrooms were very clean, soccer field/basket ball court was an easy walk away from the lake where we had set up our tents, lots of wildlife, and good fishing ponds. All together our camp had caught about 12 fish; all of which was Bass and 1 Blue Gill. The kids loved it and we would definitely recommend.

We love Camp Hye Sierra!
It was our first time here, we did tent camping on Lakeside 2. Since it's a weekday, we had the whole place by ourselves 😀 We tried this out for a possible site for our church camping, it's perfect for a big group, and would work for single families too. The drive is ok, we were instructed to use google map and it was on point. The last maybe 15-20 is very windy road, 3000+ ft elevation next to the cliff, most without barriers. The last 5min you take this sharp turn, go up a steep hill, drive thru very very narrow paved single road, and take lots of sharp turns, very close to the cliff. Drive very slowly to watch incoming cars and let each other pass. Only come in the daytime, it's very dangerous at night. When we arrived, we didnt know where to go. There was no signage, we had to ask around for our site location. I would rec. to screenshot the camp map to locate your site in case you lose signal to call the host. We had freedom to choose any area by the lake. They have all sport areas, amphitheater, and 2 lake areas. Bathroom was very clean. Hot water is great. They have some water hoses outside and power outlets in the gazebo. We used the boat on the lake, it was really nice. We didnt swim in it though, it looked very swampy. There is small "beach" area with sand for kids too. No mosquitos, but lots of bees and huge tree spiders that camped on top of our tent. But overall, it was awesome. The deer family was very cool! We plan to come back!

Great Camping spot. No service or WiFi. Clean toilets. You can’t actually swim in the lake, too much Algae but it’s beautiful to hang out by it
