Once an ancient Redwood grove full of mature redwood trees towering 250 feet in the air, This is a beautiful piece of property, very private, with an old growth Redwood snag still remaining and 30 foot diameter re-sprouted Redwood fairy rings. it has its own private entrance. In the redwood forest, lots of trees and other vegetation. Good wildlife watching area. 4 miles from the ocean. Campsites have own access point. Pack it in, pack it out. Please be respectful of neighbors and land around you. 2 sites available - both with potable water, and area for campfires (outside of any burn ban), and toilet access. Firewood available for fee. Pets allowed. Guests love staying here: "This was such a treat. Nathan was a responsive, present host--made sure we had all of the wood we wanted. We were tucked away in the woods with great amenities... bathroom included. There is a beautiful tree on the campsite that made the whole experience magical. And my pup was free to run and around and bring me sticks. I will definitely come back again!"

Sunshine Cabin
Great stay
We loved our stay! Nestled in the redwoods, the area is absolutely gorgeous. I found the property to be very quiet and tranquil. In the cabin, the furnishing was simple yet nice. And the cabin got toasty with the heater (which we were hoping for because we were traveling with our 3 month baby). Communal kitchen has most everything you’d need. And it’s pet friendly — which is clutch.

Sunshine Cabin
Lovely and quaint little cabin. Our family loved our stay and got to use the wood burn stove which was cozy on the colder days. Surrounded by lovely trees and nature. My little one loved the rope swing. Would love to stay again.

Sunset Cabin
Comfortable enough, No door lock
I thought it was strange the door to the cabin didn't lock and even more strange to be informed by the host "there's no crime here". Very naive for 2024. True until it isn't. We did feel safe enough. We camp in a tent frequently which obviously doesn't lock, I would've just packed a little different if I had known my car was my only secured spot. The communal kitchen was very nice. The bathroom is only one toilet for 3 cabins. It worked out ok, but there was definitely some squirming and waiting at times. I'd recommend shower shoes if you shower, that's a good rule for any public shower. It was nice and hot and great water pressure. I would recommend this place if they install a lock on the door. Easy fix. Definitely glamping, comfortable bed, great pillows, but still feels like roughing it a bit. We enjoyed it overall. Hiked among the red woods, saw seals and sea lions off the coast. Beautiful area.

Mushroom Cabin
This place was cozy and laid back--we brought our dog and the host was very accommodating! The bed was incredibly comfortable; we would definitely come again. Just a note, there's no key to the cabin, so it is left unlocked if you leave (you can lock it from the inside). This wasn't an issue for us, but something to know.

Mushroom Cabin
Mushroom cabin is warm, the kitchenette is convenient for private tea time, the homes are thoughtfully built and taken care of!

Site 1 - Baby Banana Slug Farm
Incredible place, super cute banana slugs. Nathan was very nice and came by to check in on us when we arrived. Awesome host, beautiful camping spot. Platform was great for camping. Sink was nice. He left us lots of firewood. Mendocino is really close. Highly recommend.
