Rustic camping on the Fraser River
🏕️ First Hipcamp!
I enjoyed car camping on Dean and Freda's riverside campsite. It was a godsend on my road trip to Alaska. It was serene and beautiful. I got to meet the hosts and chat a bit. They were incredibly nice.

Rustic camping on the Fraser River
Beautiful camping spot on the Fraser River. Dean and Freda met up upon arrival and showed us the road down to the site. Flat space to pitch our tent, and a picnic table. The only washroom available is in their house. Very peaceful stay with lovely views!

Rustic camping on the Fraser River
Fraser River gem!
Dean and Freda are incredibly welcoming and have a wonderful camping spot right along the Fraser River! Amazing privacy and gorgeous, unobstructed river views for miles! We feel really lucky to have stayed here, and are always grateful when people share their gemstone properties, like this one. Don't be concerned about the proximity to the highway and train, with the topography of the land we didn't hear either. Highly recommend!! We had no trouble at all in our 2wd 22 ft van, however taking a large RV or trailer could be an issue on inclines.

Kodama Rustic Fraser River camping
We brought our truck-camper to Dean's property for a quiet retreat. We were able to pull right up to the river and had incredible views all around us. The property was very well maintained and incredibly peaceful. Dean was very friendly and even brought us a dozen fresh eggs from his hens. We will most definitely be back! 😁

Dean was super friendly and his place was great! Spectacular views of the Fraser right outside my tent. I will have to come back again with the rest of the family. Thanks again Dean.
