Off-Road Camping At Quiet Time Hill
Not convenient for late night stay
We were looking for a last minute place to stay for the night. I do not recommend booking and arriving at night. We didn’t even end up making it there, we turned around on the road. It’s farther from the freeway than I thought it was according to the map. The potholes were so bad that you had to drive extremely slow on the road to get to a turn to eventually get onto the property. Maybe it’s different arriving during the day, the photos looked nice, but I don’t recommend if you’re in a similar situation as me. We had already paid and still decided to turn around.

Off-Road Camping At Quiet Time Hill
Open Land, Starry Skies, A Gem
Quiet Time Hill was absolutely spectacular. The open land and starry skies beat a motel by a million. Thanks for making this available to all of us travelers, Angel!

Nuno’s campsite 🏕
Scam
This host appears to be a scam. The written directions take you out to a dead-end road miles out into the middle of the desert, isolated, with no way to know which piece of land (if any) you are allowed to camp on. The map the host sends is for a completely different location, nowhere near where his written directions say. The host does not respond to either his phone number or email.. Hipcamp should not allow this person to advertise on its site.

Nuno’s campsite 🏕
Overall it was ok. The directions during the day were fine but at night I m not sure. I wasn’t too sure if I was on the right land and didn’t get any reply from the owner. The land has some trash and shotgun shells. Other than that the views are pretty cool and it was quiet. I felt pretty safe there.

Poor Directions
I guess I can't really rate this place because we could never find it. The information on the website is crazy. The written description says "take the 181 and turn onto Shepherd Hills Rd". The map on Hipcamp showed a location north of Willcox. I emailed Angel and got a quick response which was an apple map showing a location in Sunsites, AZ. Clearly at least one other person has found the location based on other reviews, but I would recommend adding some better written directions and an accurate map location. If it is back on Shepherd Hills Road, you might want to put up some signage. There were a lot of people back there living in old buses and I really don't think you would want to trespass on their land.

Quiet time on the hill đŸŒ”
Road and sites full of trash. Rats dominating the land due to the garbages around. Host never responds to communication. Not recommended at all!
