Enjoy the Northern Arizona sun during the day and campfires and star gazing at night on this 1 acre campsite all to yourself just 1.5 miles off Highway 180 at the Grand Canyon Junction for food, gas, water, and supplies before reaching Grand Canyon National Park 32 miles away.
There is a road cut into the site allowing you to pull in and park a trailer, RV or other vehicles around the center fire pit - perfect for friends and family gatherings or solo and couples camping.You will be given the address and GPS coordinate upon booking. There are a few routes you can take from the main highways to reach the site but the best known way is to exit Highway 180 at Dewey Dr, turn right on Carmen Rd, then left on Vernon Rd, and finally left on Colgate St.
From the highway, the dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or mud.
There is a fire ring and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions.
There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies.
