The site is in the heart of the Grand Canyon recreation area. You won’t have neighbors close by. I don’t live on site. The nearest full time resident is a quarter mile away. You are literally across the from BLM land do you can hike and enjoy the solitude. There is a gas station six miles away on the main paved road and both Meadview and Dolan Springs have stores to re supply. There is a myriad of things to do here. You are in the backyard of the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead. Visit the national park and the Grand Canyon skywalk with our site as your base camp. There is hiking right from camp. Boating, fishing and swimming 30 mins away in lake mead. Bring you 4 wheelers and other desert toys. Hunt for arrowheads (I’ve found them on the property) or gold on one of the many gold claims in the area. With membership in one of many clubs who operate the claims.
