Here at Meadowview you will find a stately ring of venerable oaks beside a sweeping meadow vista crowned by Hope Mountain. Sleep under abundant stars, stroll or bike to crystal clear swimming holes on the east fork of the Illinois River, walk to our neighbor's charming farm store for fresh goat cheese, local produce, and wild wines, and explore the National Forest here on the ancestral lands of the Takelma people, 10 miles outside Cave Junction. Take a lovely winding drive to the Oregon Caves, or day trip an hour to the Redwoods and Pacific Coast. We offer many unusual experiences by arrangement, such as trying on real suits of armor, and learning to make felted wool slippers. Be sure to check out our "extras" listings!

We had a great stay at Kate and Mark's, if we are in the area again we will definitely stay there again. Their land and views are beautiful along with great hospitality.

Camping under old oaks

As described, the tent site was in a fine old oak grove with a view over a big meadow with hills behind. Kate was laid up with a recent injury, but was a kind and responsive host by text. Mark was unfailingly helpful and kind.
